VERY VERY VERY late post, but gg's Soniti and others from last Thursday. Also, Arcana Heart 3 is being added to the tournaments now? If so, cool. I always wanted to learn how to play that game, even though I have heard horror stories on its steep learning curve.

I just noticed in the Noel vs. Platinum match that 5B seems to have a sound effect change when hit (0:45). Was there anything changed with 5B?

After watching the red Noel in those vids, I am both excited yet intimidated with the new Noel. I mean seeing the buffs she recieved in action is nice, but after witnessing so many variations of her blockstrings and combos, I am having a hard time keeping up.

I'm a noob then. I use 22B mash whenever my opponent is at his/her last vestiges of hp.

With these changes, the likelyhood of top tier Noel existing has reached dangerous levels. I'm going to prepare myself for lots of "Equillibrium" fights in the future.

I can't continue training anymore. It's a good thing that somewhere inside me I expected this to happen, but I couldn't help but be hopeful.

For my experience, neutral air tech is the only air tech you should do should you find yourself launched in the air. Air teching left or right is a free Atomic Collider especially when magnetised since it leaves you in the air longer.

Couple of questions for the next time I practice at the arcade. For short hitboxes like Carl and Rachel, will delaying j.D in a normal j.D>6D combo be enough to prevent 6D from whiffing afterwards or is super jumping an absolute must? After a succesful 6A>6C to an airborne opponent I still have trouble landing a j.D afterwards, so will 5D work as an alternative?

Hi, I was wondering if there's an arcade with a bbcs machine in the Vegas area. I'm here for the weekend and would like to have some games in and maybe meet some people there.

Because Blazblue was my first fighting game to be competetive at, I was basically learning my main, Noel, and the fighting game 101 at the same time. Granted, this caused my Blazblue training to drag on for AWHILE. CT: Noel- For the 8 months of going to the arcade to learn this character, I still never mastered her. I could only do the simple drive BnB and air combo ONLY WHEN MY CHARACTER WAS FACING LEFT. Rachel- About 1 day for her basics. I was more experienced at this point and had my cousin train me on using his own character. CS: Noel- Still working on it tbh. I can definitly say I'm much better at CS Noel than CT, but her advance combos are still boggling me. Rachel- Less than a day for her basics. Honestly I feel she's alot simpler than her CT counterpart, but that's just me. Also, watching and playing against Jason D. helps this. Fighting Game 101: Still in training

At this point, I'm just glad I can now put trust into her normals again. Having a decent drive with crap normals produced some VERY bad habbits during my training.

I'm still confused which drive move had its jump cancel removed. I sometimes read that it's d.5D and other times its d.5C with the latter the more devastating of the two.

But in return, at least from the latest loctests, Noel is getting better pressure options with 6A and j.B having WAY better hitboxes, jump cancellable 5C, etc.

What are good setups for d.6D > d.6C combos? I know using 22B onward is one, but are there anymore? Would be great to add to my combo arsenal.

I used an online translator for that. ・CR5Cがjc出来なくなった -Became impossible jc is CR5C (lol) d.5C is definitly not jump cancellable anymore. Sucks because that was what made CR fun to do.
