It shouldn't. 6D and d6B have identical animations on start-up, so you probably saw that. Maybe also 6D>RC>6D?

Is it me or is Noel's offensive drive usage getting stranger every video? This is after watching 7 vids of Oboron (Noel) vs RYO (Relius)

Will air double fangs (if it works like the A version) cause hard knockdown and to what extent does the move remain active? If recovery frames end while we're still airborne that would be nice.

Played CP at AX: Ugh at crouching hit stuff>3C>22C. Even in Japan, I still had this problem where they would tech before 22C hit them. I'm pretty sure this is just a matter of execution, and is remedied by practice. /endrant Anyways, do you guys have any thoughts to who is our best/worst match ups based on what you observed in videos? If you played the game, well thats cool too.

Welcome. To start off, you did very well blocking the projectiles and approaching slowly. When it comes to longer ranges, try using Optic Barrel to prevent her from lobbing lobelias and summoning stuff, if it knocks down then go hog wild. One thing about Rachel is that outside of Cat chair and proper use of wind, she has below average defensive options, so what you want to do is to stay within offensive range. I noticed you like to do 6B after a few pokes from 2A. Try not to do that too often because if read, you will lose your offensive advantage. Remember you have other normals you can use and they are arguably better than Rachel's. 2A alone gives her nightmares.

Using drive pressure when you got your opponent pinned down is fine. Using it in neutral like THAT? Heck no.

Playing for 2 days now without online experience and I'm still having trouble adapting to the system itself. Cant break 33% yet with my main, GL.

Oh you're on dustloop now too. I read "On Strange Wings" a year ago and enjoyed it from start to finish. The people were in character, the fight scenes resembled actual in-game matchups, and most of all the pairing was believable. Question: Has Evilbaki proven a challenge to write for your future projects?

I find it more fun to see how those notable Noel players win despite differing from each other in their playstyles. I mean we got: R-1: Goes for flash. This makes him use drive....excessively. A very unpredictable yet dangerous (to both him and hs opponent) playstyle that can go either way. DAISUL: Same thing as above albeit with more restraint. I call him R-1 lite at times. Takeyama: Nothing too unique really, he just plays solidly. Kou: More emphasis on normals. Might make him a little predicatable in the long run, but thats why hes been using more spacing in recent vids I saw him.

Is there any trick to using her trap oki upon knockdown? Everytime I try blahblah>sweep>A Double Fang>stance cancel>C trap I always either get thrown out before the trap even explodes or its too short and my opponent gets away. I am setting the trap as fast as I can while microdashing for the C trap to be in range. This is causing me to lose alot of momentum in my matches and I sorely need it. -

Having been there as well, I'll try my hand at answering. For now though lets kickstart this thread with a few questions. 1) Is there any corner combos that break 3.5k meterless and dont involve muzzle flitter? I wasnt able to break that limit with 5B>6A and/or crouching hit>5C>3C combos, maybe I'm missing something. 2) Do you feel the loss of head invulnerability for 4D hurts certain matchups? How about the change to 2D? 3) What do you think of using 5C as a wake-up meaty?
