I thought CSX Spring Raid could only combo into j.b>air combo. I am losing track on how many wall bounces one corner combo has.

How about blablahblah>5C>RC>dash>6A combos. Are those still around?

Bummer I couldn't show up to this again, hopefully you guys had fun. I'm still not completely sure how the danisen system works, but will it cause too much trouble if I show up say 2 to 3 hours after starting time? Like how showing up to tournaments late can mess up the brackets. My new schedule has me leaving school at 2PM at best and I'm 1 hour away from Cerritos.

My chances of making this are now zilch. Hopefully I can show up for the next one.

I've gotten a few 4's before. I get the feeling I've met these very same people in local tournaments.

There could be another tournament on 9/18/11 if that board is any indication. Hopeful to have a good turnout this time around.

I can post updates here since I live like 5 minutes away from FFA. Kinda hard to find free time to go there myself though. EDIT: Correction this is probably more appropriate in the actual FFA bi weekly thread.

You use 5C>3C alot. Try to refrain from using this on a blockstring. The only time you should use that string is on CH 5C or crouching hit. Also, try to use more 5C>2C or 5C>6B, the former being in the fact that 2C gives nice frame advantage and the latter being that, well, it's an overhead (hit by overhead = damage).

So far we can special cancel off drive-starters (ie 5D/2D/4D/6D>214A), but since follow ups arent special-cancellable, combos like blahblah>d.6C>214A won't work without RCing the drive. With repeat proartion on 22B, it's likely haida is gone.

When's the next event happening? P.S. The GG machines buttons are switched around (P is K, HS is D, etc.)

This is starting to become one of my worst match-ups. I am at a loss on what to do on approaching her when she has the staff thanks to her long-range and dp. As for staffless, her blockstrings seem to never end and I get overwhelmed. My only hope is that I get a lucky knockdown (even better when she's staffless), then momentum is shifted in my favor.

I suggest you go through the Tutorial mode to learn the basics of this game and its system since you are very new to this game. After that, since you are maining Noel, you have to get used to her movement (LunaKage's post above) and her moveset to get a feel on what they can do. It's important to know which moves do what in order for your combos to work.

GGs to everyone there. Much better turnout than last week. Thank you Sev for bringing the CS2 setup. And alas, I got a new move I can use for Bridget. Thanks Sanoshi for telling me how to use it.

People usually show up somewhere around 7 to 9 PM. I personally show up at 8:30 and there is already someone there at the GG machine.

Recording GG matches huh. Finally, I can watch myself use Bridget as a rushdown character.
