Akihiko is a horrible character.

Let her whiff j.B and go in for pressure if her persona isn't prepping a move. SLabrys's DP isn't really strong so you can pressure her into making a bad choice eventually. Frame traps =/= good reads generally. A good read as in "I think they are gonna throw this move out right now. CORKSCREW" And it fatal counters and you get wallbounce combo. You should work on getting in and making the call either the opponent is going to block (Throw or B charged hook) or if they're gonna poke out (Counter/Corkscrew). Also this gets even better when you have 50 meter cause if you guess right then you get a combo ending in tornado upper. Guess wrong, lightning fists and all is well. Generally if you keep 5A/2A'ing them, theyre gonna get antsy and push a button. That's where you make your read and punish them for attempting to poke out/block more.

P4A is the easiest fighting game of all time. Like, 2% execution required. Netcode is CT level if you play 3 bars or up. Balanced as fuck too.

EX Dash will cross up opponents when close enough and leave you in neutral to 5B. Akihiko can fuzzy opponents after a deep jump in. Other than that, just frame trap and throw a bit more than other characters. He's primarily a spacing character relying on whiff punishes though rather than HIT BUTTONS MIXUP.

Yep. I'll be there at Nickel's every week hoping for Persona casuals. I can't lug around a setup though because I'd rather not bring a 32 inch CRT with me. Now time to decide how many characters to main.

Smash bros. Maybe you're not in the know, but that'd get you thrown out if some people actually saw that. In fact, the only SSB that is even semi legit and respected is melee, and that's because it requires mad spacing. GGs to Shinsyn, I'll watch a video or two per week and learn my BnB through mime motion.

Hey Dooku, bring you guys over to Nickel City on Saturday, Illinois actually has a thread on Dustloop again and people are trying to show up to play Blazblue! Or are Alex and Sanchaz at Final Round?

I'm not going to lie, I haven't seen a Tekken 6.1 setup at Nickel City yet. I have seen a few really strong players for it at GGA on Thursdays but they are very few and far between. I know the Tekken players will be at GGA today according to their thread on Tekken Zaibatsu if he'd go to that. I'm not really sure how recording is handled/done at all, but I can say that we run usually all setups at 720. No CRTs here unless someone puts in the effort to bring a good ol tube to play Guilty Gear on. (Which can happen sometimes). I do know that Nickel City has 5 EVO Monitors for us on Saturdays that are free for us to use, just require a system/HDMI cord to be put to use. If you get there later than the opening however you're probably going to have to supply your own monitor. I think we get around...4-5 extra monitors per saturday. Also every Thursday and soon to be every Saturday will be streamed. Not this weekend because our streamer will be at Final Round to A. Represent team GGA (GGA sponsors MK players) and B.
