I tried this myself (with my old PSP 1000XD) and can only do about 3.9K if i do 2A>renka(1)>kishuu>6C>2C>[sj>j.2A>j.2C>2C>]>j.2A>AD>j.2Ax3>j.C can you squeeze more hits in somewhere? Also: my fingers hurt

Thanks Yuki, Sans and zreb for the help. i can get it now consistently. I guess it was a mix of not hitting j.2C low enough and 2C early enough. Gotta work on my execution:3

Anyone want to help me with a CS2 combo? Atm im practicing 66>hotaru>IAD>j.2C>2C>sj>j.2A>etc. corner loop, So i set everything up, hotaru hits as FC, i can land the j.2C after the IAD easily, but 2C wont connect. I tried hitting with j2C at different heights, but its no use. Could i be missing something essential? I can combo after j2C with 5A, but it feels like im abandoning a lot of damage there, so help would be very appreciated.

i saw that combo in a vid though. im pretty sure it was CS2. let me dig it up. edit: this is it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fznb-6Au6cA at about 8:05 it starts from 6A though. i just started playing hazama a ffew days ago, so if that increases hitstun somehow, i didnt know it sorry.

I was talking about CS2 edit: figured it out. if anyone cares: you gotta do a lv2 214D~C to get all hits in.

I need a little tip here, too. When i try to connect 6DA>4DA>7,8DA>grab after a jayoku they usually tech out before the grab. i can land it reliably without the jayoku though. Is there anything special i gotta look out for when doing this? couldnt find anything about this on the last few pages.

ya hes really a bitch to get in on. dashing 2A works fine most of the time if its not to predictable. u can try to bait his 5C by staying out of 5B range and then 3C it. works surprisingly well, but its not something to apply in general situations. valks doesnt have a reversal, so you can pressure im pretty well as long as you dont get predictable. if he jumos out of asteroid vision A into anything get him with an air throw. i think hes got the advantage, but theres so much stuff the valks rely on and you can take advantage of that. also a last point: remember to 2A him out of his wolf form. he can hardly get in if you condition him not to use it:3

i think BBS fullscreen punish possibilitys need a mention here too. possibly in "against air" since it works well against airdashers etc. could make her potential against air into an A maybe

Oh its daedron hi:D I fought you a few times on ranked. are you from europe by any chance? i think i had quite a good connection with u.(also ur pretty high on the boards arent you?) anyway for the vids: 1. hitconfirming 5B. especially in that match against tager u scored hits and retreated afterwards 2. also gainst tager, keep out of the air, especially when magnetized 3. random 22Ds dont do anything for ya...okay maybe as AA at a certain distance:3 didnt notice any more negative stuff. your 2C AA; 22D gimmick and charge cancelling were nice though. take this with a grain of salt, since i just picked tsubaki up again(just did some ranked matches and won like 3 of 10 matchesXD) -
i did indeed misreadXD stupid of me to build my argument on thatXD also: 214C :P i stated my points i guess. so we can stop this here before it escalatesXD oh i just saw omni posting and would have to wholeheartedly agree on dash 2A

tsubaki has about the same and no mixup(literaly nothing thats worth it. u dont even get 2k for her overhead>_>) shes 45 too if tager is in his range to do damage makotos too. while makoto is even faster. both dont have decent blockstrings. which puts them in the same place up close. while makotos got more damage safe approach: asteroid vision C>barrier, asteroid vision C>j2C. the rest is yomi sadly>_> who dusnt have the game?

i didnt doubt that, but shes not as exposed to tager like tsubaki and noel are.

ya i hate that. you can say anything, but it doesnt mean anything to people if no japanese player did it or somethin she has save strings that are just pretty short and thus not very useful, but still an option. also no makoto ould run straight up, or jump in like a dunce. she has her safe methids of approach too :P

no to like 2A>5B>6A>jc or what ever. i wrote av c-version not a or b and meant things like 2C(far of course) so you got enough time to cancel out during block stun. id like to see a tager approach on the ground though. you can still jump in. jC is bad, but not unusable(and who would jump in with it anyway?) j2C is cool against him since even his 2C clashes with it and its jc-able. lotsa tagers are going to use their j2C and your jB beats it and gets you high damage. makotos damage is higher in general which gets neglected pretty fast lately. i mean comet canon loop. 50 meter for free or oki from it and mindfuck with BBS tech traps are a guessing game for both and they dont hold their own in mathup discussion anyway. thats why i only mentioned AV for getting out and not for mix/cross-up. her DP fails as much as ID when its bated anyway.

if you play it safe he cant even get though your(sadly quite short) blockstrings with IB. if you reduce your blockstings to the minimum you dont give him more holes to attack then any other character(and in case of emergency you can AV C-version cancel out of it pretty safely). on the other hand 3C can avoid most of his good combo starters and fake his 2C out. her air to air game is better and her dp protects her from most of tagers gimmicks. gameplan against tager is keeping distance and play midgames too. you wont get him ith mixup anyway so you gotta make the first hit count and got for oki

makotos matchups with the mid tiers are to bad. oh and tager 45-55 sure>_>

god why did they even touch makoto? im starting to doubt ASW knows what theyre doing afterall. i feel offended
