haha, /\ vs /\ looks like the most fun mirror. so much awareness needed to dodge swords and such. video 3, round 2 of the first fight was great. especially the beginning. parser c vs parser c.

ah, i thought air unblockable meant through barrier as well.

so if /\'s 236236d super keeps an enemy blocking in the air http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm9617016 like in the 5th round of match 2, wouldn't it be beneficial to parser c them?

1. commentators were annoying as anything i've ever heard 2. that /\ was pretty bad. random 5d and parser c's aren't that productive against Arakunes

i have no kanji knowledge at all. so i could be wrong with that.

in the first vid, at 3:10, the crescent, rapid, crescent, rapid was nasty. that was probably Minori. that's his color at least. play style is roughly the same too. wow, that second match against Hazama was nasty. double perfect. that's the first time i've seen guard break actually work out for /\. i couldn't help but laugh at a comment in the second video. a lone D floating across the screen.

oh, it seems that the Arakune in CS has a 100% curse combo into a 9k combo. cool.

one would think guard crush would amplify the damage for the next combo..

i remember holding a conversation here about the usefulness of barrier breaking someone, and i still think its fairly pointless. like you break them, you start your combo, and odds are they'll burst out of it because of the removal of danger mode. i just watched that /\ vs ragna again and the thought just came to my head.

so any combo to the crescent to the 5dd 6dd 2dd combo is nasty. i laughed at the 150 hit combo.

this happens a lot to me in ct. i find i actually need to do 21478d to get it to work reliably.

ah. thanks for clearing that up. cause i just watched a vid of Nu vs Litchi and it seemed it hit through on crouching block. i guess the Litchi just gave up blocking after the 4dd. air unblockable is nice. if you can zone them into the right position with 214d its almost a free 2k.

the amount of work to get that combo is disproportional to the reward. Odds are you'll land several combos in your attempts to break, so where's the incentive?

i'm going to be the first to say its weird to hear people cheering for the Nu...

i'm not really talking about Nu specific, but its just his playstyle now from the few vids (there are actually VERY few vids of him) i've seen. but the case point is a page back in the Nu vs Ara fight. they just kind of hack away at each other, then Nu gets cursed, the Nu turtles for x amount of seconds until all the meter is used up, then the cycle starts again. and yeah, i still haven't seen a use for guard breaking. they're stunned for 2 seconds and i don't think they can burst, so it lets you get a combo in, but there is no definite advantage from actually breaking them. it takes a good amount of work to break all 4-10 for a free combo with no damage + incentives. that's also pretty much the only use i see for 236d is to aid in breaking, since i haven't seen anything that can combo into it.

parser c goes a set distance right? also, it would seem that any matchup vs Ara now is: fight he hits you a few times you hit him a few times you get cursed you block for 20 seconds ??? win/lose that seems rather... dull

haha. i've moved passed the denial, pain, and anger stages. i'm now in reflection/upward turn. i'm still a looooong way from acceptance and hope though. also, i just hope there isn't an over reliance on the new parsers. it seems like they're necessary to put together ground combos.

well, there'd be less than 15 videos, 11 of which are of her losing, and the best combo we could talk about uses 100% meter and does 4k. suicide rate here would skyrocket.
