Last time I tried to play I found NO ONE, and when i have asked in chat why I've been responded that it was unplayable and everyone returned on #R. Can you please clearify A working online mode could be a God's gift to make something to move here in It***, where everyone had passed to Blazblue or stucked in reload...

+1 For the story take the first GG and overture. They have nice story since they are not arcade games. For actual gameplay take AC+...Overture is very good and deep, but not exactly a beat'em up. And no, the story have not ended, Daisuke wanted to continue in the direction of overture (if you read some interview), but dunno if Arcsys wants...since the not excellent sales

For the story the first GG for ps1 and GG Overture. GG X and XX Have side stories...but if you need take #R, that have simply refined gameplay. GG X have no story mode, just a picture for the endings so... isuka is trash in every aspect. BTW if you're interested in actually playing the game, head also for AC, since it's the one played in japan, tournaments etc.

Italy. in reality you were right lol, I quitted it since I was busy for trying an international exchange and I get confused with the HSK (a sort of noryoku shiken for chinese) that had been delayed some weeks 'cause climate problems. ah, the JLPT...you were quite unlucky, because this years the test changed and was more difficult! If I am not wrong, past years there was just a single point system, so if you rock on a single section of the test (for example Kanji) you coulded pass everything even sucking at the rest (and that was the reason for many chinese to pass it easy, like 100% right on kanji). From this year instead you have to set a minimun on every section. Also I heard it is slightly more difficult...saying that 'cause I have to take it too next month :/

Play the charachter. A lot. Watch pro video, notice what they do and why you fail. Try them in trainig. Repeat to point 1. In fact, the only way to "learn" a charachter is to play with him and learn from your mistakes.

Isuka is a sort of bad GG Mugen :/ But for me, roks ONLY for the soundtrack, the only think done by Daisuke

In Japan, it was one of the most selled games on the months when it had come out, like third place or even first. So not quite unsold :/

The game had never hitted for three major reasons 1)bad critic. or I have to say RETARD critic, that united to a very bad work of localisation and promoting never had the game to be known to people 2)GG2 is basically a very deep game. well, too deep an strategic for many players...and the west gamers that like strategic do not like the japanes-anime like style, they're done with SC...but mostly they are not aware of GG2, and so we're close to point 1 3)negative karma I can also summarize the first two points in one: people is dumb is dumb because almost anyone had payed the game enough to understand it, dumb because they never get online, dumb because of theyr fanboiysm, and so on. i'll FINALLY get my xbox next weeks, but I'm here in the magic Italy, where the people that actually play GG (the beat'em up) are like...hmm...3? 4? So you can imagine that a real community will never born here...apart Aedesyr lol

Hey Genma, I'm translating the wiki, but I have many difficulties becasue 1) It is HARD as hell XD 2)Common kanji like massacre, annhilation and so on 3)(most important one) games term and mechanics, that makes me difficult to understand their meaning and context. maybe i'll send to you a stub everytime I translate a chapter, but it would be better if I actually play the game (things that I hope to do in a month) XD

The manga of GG is an abomination born from an usuless and unknow mangaka. Making an anime of GG would be actually cool, but only if done trought the right way. But, since now it wasn't produced, I doubt that it will be ever made, especially after the low sells og GGII (that is awsome, if you want to know)
