Marry me. NOW You actually said everything. Someone said BB was the future because GG is "too difficult". Well, it's true that BB is more accessible at the beginning, but what we prefer from a fighting game: one that is simple to begin with, but at higher level is just BORING and necessitate a new version every year, or one that may be more difficult to begin, but the more you go on one the more it shines? I mean, i think I'll try to play some BB, it's actually a good BEU overall (surely MORE than AH or other useless BEU), but it would be just because I'm the only active player. In all my country. Obv IMO

Half of this thing are only for console release...witch is NEVER the core of a Beat'em up, that lives in the arcade. I just don't want a retarded or semplified version of GG, tht's all. I think it's perfect the way it is. In fact, I don't really feel the need of a new 2D GG... The market needed a semplified one, and they did great with BB.

Guilty Gear, as it's creator said, it's not dead. A new chapter will come; probably not now, probably not a 2d fighting game, but will come. As he said "Surely, first or later!" Also consider that Daisuke wanted to close the serie/make a new chapter after Overture: the low sales (but not too low in japan, remember) probably stopped the company to make him to do so.

Let's clarify something: the eathquake do not make too much damage itself, it was the tsunami the real catastrophe. Well, if you don't want to read a guide (that I think too it's a bad way to start from zero), and training mode doesn't help, the best thing to do is to play against someone. Everytime you try something in pressure and so on, you can see it directly what enters, what is safe and what the enemy punishes. I think that learning directly from a human opponent is a best way to grow. Then, once you start to understand some basic and normal proprierties, you can start using again training mode, guides etc. Oh, for the first times cpu can work as well..i think, but just to get confident about the game The important thing is that slowly you have to take control on what you do and why. The first time will be mostly some mashing. At least, this is my humble opinion :3

Dizzy IK seems to be, if I'm not wrong, the most impraticable of the set. Only use for IK is for trolling noobs, even when dizzy state, I see japanese players use normal combos for the final blow.
