  2. This Just compare the story from #R and the one from AC In #R we have nice dialogues, narration, and even a lot of comicity, since the fights are often just an excuse. The story is completely a gaiden, but in a good sense; instead of advancing the main plot, the game focuses on a side part of the story, the one regarding the postwar administration bureau. AC+ somehow scraps #R stories and have ridiculos storyline, dialogues and such (I just think on how they solve SOl vs OS paradox...meh) Many characters also looks like they are parody of themselves (like Anji, and such) In this one Daisuke will be leading again, so.. Also, Overture did not sold that bad. The fact that is not THAT popular doesn't affect sell rate (in Japan, in the west sold almost nothing) Plus, it is a great game
  3. In game like stracraft you need at least 10 hours for day of training/playtime to be really competitive I don't think the same applies to FG :X
  4. Is that a challenge? Also, i always had faith in Daisuke. GG2 was higly criticized from start, but ended being a wonderful and deep game I feel the same for Xrd

It's a general speak when he reflect on what to do to create something new in approching a new GG Mostly, starting again from basic and look again at the past, and putting a great enphasis on how to create something new. The only concrete mention was to the graphic, that passed to 3D to create a great visual impact, as it was originally done in hi res sprites Nothing else, it just confirm (in a speculative way) what we have seen and discussed about, a return to the origins and a semplification from the adding that we had in all the chapter after #R (that was the last chapter he worked in) If you're intrested I can translate it later, but probably someone else will do it before me...

  7. In early interview regarding overture he said he had sketches of charachter in the future (overture time) that could have not used in the end. One of those was a Chipp president of United Stat....Zepp, and Potemkin half cyborg. I think that the basic idea was to add those in a GG2+, but that never happened in the end...

Seems there is a strange bug that allows you to return in the masterghost immediately in Illirya even if you are on the opposide side of the map As you can see on this video (from Guilty Blood channel, subscribe plz, he uploads video mostly every day) Around 6:45 he jumps on the right bridge (even if it is outside the map), and after checking the organ the game brings him back on his MG I think it is done to prevent glitches and getting stuck in walls, but in the end seems quite useful Maybe is an old news, just wanted to share For the rest, I'm having problem in doing the Ky and Sin material. For some reason, while converting the DVD file to mpeg the audio delays around 6 second, making the video unusable. If I can't find a solution, I'll simpky use it without sound...meh

On the opposite, having a REAL engine to work with, along with original design and such will make the game REALLY interesting and full of possibilities, instead of just a cute fighting game with ponies But the mlp fandom is too stupid to undersand that, and it's not donating for the game do not have ponies anymore...EVEN if the chara design is made by Lauren Faust MEH

I noticed that the more I play only against westerner that do not understand/get better at the game, the more worst I become due to a serie of factors like 1 )lag )random strings and button mashing )no tactical gameplay at all, 0% ghost control. I can't get better at all, I'm stick in a sort of "beginner" level forever, While the japanese, of course, get more and more better. I should probably quit the game at all once and for all, the only decent match I had in two years and 458 plays are like less than 20 I'll probably just finish the video guides and quit #endrant
  16. But BB is made in 16:9, while GG is on 4:3 They should do like SF3 porting, i play it in my crt wonderfuly, while I have to play GG in my hd monitor I think to have read somewhere that arc will fix that in the upcoming patch

GG2 is still my favourite game, even if I feel like I'm I'm a sort of highlander... a scrubby one, thou :x So, since western player have no intention to learn the basics of the game, I've finally made a recording setup and started to do video guide! I've started with the most familiar one for FG players: basic combo guides. For now Sol (bad quality, first try), Valentine and Raven, more to come It's nothing advanced or difficult, just the more easy, basic and common combo and guard crush setup you can learn. those are not charcter guides, so setups, how the play it and all the rest is not covered. If you get hit by 6H on wakeup, it means that you are not guarding or mashing something...and that's BAD If you jump, rememebr to use barrier, or it will hit you since it's a ground attack. 6H whit pot is used mainly to raise the guard bar and keep you on the corner, try to IB and then react baing on what your opponent do. Not sure if you can autoguard it... btw, Anji vs pot is totally in Anji's favour, you just need to fix some matchup features (like the butterfly being countered on mid distances, etc) If you want, add me on xbox and we can do some mirror!
  19. Well, 5p may be used especially when the opponent is on the corner to prevent him to jump, a very common setup i saw was: butterfly-> 2k, 5p Of course, it's situational, but sometimes it's a good thing to do :3

  21. Anji's normals understanding is the most difficult part. He has many useful normals, but using those well according to situation/distance and get fucked or punished is the hard part.
  22. I've tried anji a little more...now 3s cancel is sure easy! I need to adjust fixing the distances, somehow hs into 6p is better, but surely using the 3s cancelling all the time is a life saver. About 6H, is it use othen after H or else? Now pretty much every normal can be cancelled into it, but unless having some tension to spend to cancel it doesn't seems a good idea to use it too much in blockstring without a butterfly... But I noticed also another thing, the guys at mikado was using 6p as a poke A LOT more during matches, did the properties of it became somehow better? Thanks for the answers, btw. I'll send you a pm soon about Osaka/Kyoto travel!
  23. Sweep, butterfly, Okizeme It works with almost all ground pokes (unless you talk about 6S, or hs that can be followed aniway with fuujin)
  24. Is comboing 5D with 623D that useful? I mean, impossible dust with j5H and on isn't the same thing, but without spending 25% tension? Thanks for the info thou! Btw, the level gap against the mikado guys (i was around during the 3on3) is impressive, I couldn't win a round... Ok, you know I know 0 matchup, but that's quite depressing still. Also, I'll let you know If I can come in Kyoto and when by pm, I'm sorta out of budget and unless I find a very cheap place to stay in Osaka/kyoto i have to pass this time...

Yesterday I made a little session against CPU and a sol player at Mikado to test the new anji, I and I have to say it feels good 5p antiair seems stronger and very easy to combo after, since another 5p is no longer needed, and the new gatling with 6H is really something. I still feel that 623D is useless, but whatever Anyway, any suggestion to adapt into the new Ani? For example, speaking of combos the old ones seems to work, but I bet there is something better (I think I saw a fuujin loop in avideo using 2p to carry the opponent some time ago...can't remember, I couldn't follow too much r+ videos )...
