It's like a personal twitter of this guy, but instead it's the ASW official one He spam with things he like (shoes, vg and such), and sometime post ASW news that anyone already knows about It's not like THAT terrible, but is quite usuless and the "bro" attitude is kinda unprofessional and irritating Back on xrd, TGS in afew days, and we're expecting some news by Ishiwatari. I'm expecting, clearly, a statement for I-No and Axl, and maybe some other reveal? Since vastedge is fully revealed, maybe he'll say something about it and the connections to xrd (chara and such)?

  3. If you ask me this looks like it's settled BEFORE overture. Sin and Sol traveling togheter happened before overture, since in gg2 ending Sin decided to remain in Illirya, at his father side. Of course, it's just speculation, and since it's a pachislot it will be just a filler. Also, yay for more chimaki
  4. Not really. It's a common sign to se in many colors (you can find grey ones in the airport, just to name one), and i also think that has became a sort of meme between the japanese third strike players some years ago, but I may be wrong.

  7. I think that the new Millia will be more based on the roll. With the new followup,it looks way more useful for mixups and such For the rest, will be more probably based on #R Millia
  8. Not saying that design and such do not count at all in a FG, but... So, the people who kept playing AC in arcades was here just for the story? Or, by expanding a little, why i can't see story DLC in chess? Is that a Blade moment? Also, considering that this is "[Xrd] News & (Theoretical) Gameplay Discussion", can we stay on topic? Anyway, I'm expecting another locktest soon, maybe in Osaka or such? From GGXRD site, roughly translated : They are probably gonna test new characters little by little as they are finished, as well as new mechanics
  9. It did not bombed that badly, in Japan sold quite well (USA sales was really bad thou) Also, can we please remeains in topic and talk about xrd? I guess we do have a general therad for GG story, etc etc
  10. Izuna can make two sidestep instead of one, and had a few unblockables and nasty setups, but his damage is not too high, and has not the potential of Sol in close combat. Also, he miss a DP. His Y (a slow projectile that follows the enemy master) is used both to keep pressure or in okizeme to force the enemy on block, and somehow can resemble Anji's shitsu move, with all the difference of the case and the engine, of course.
  11. If we talk about master vs master combat, In Overture Sin is a character with strong and long range normals that he uses for zoning. Valentine was the heavy zoner absolutely terrible in close combat; Sol was just Sol with ridiculos pressure and damage; Raven was easy to play, with kinda bad normals (slow and easily punishable on whiff) but with strong punishment and a few tricks with binding or some others skill; Izuna was the Chipp of the game mixed with Anji, highest mobility and such, with medium damage output but low life, relies on confusing the enemy to create a chance; Paradigm was just a training dummy; Ky was nice, could maintain a constant pressure on opponent waiting/causing a mistake, as well as constantly harassing/zoning with stun edge That could serve you if you want some gameplay speculation of the Overture characters Sin will probably remains a chara with strong normals and zoning

  14. Because there will be something like (if not really) FRC in the final game that consumes 25% bar :/ Really nice interview, and also glad they are still focusing on arcades. I'm also happy to see Sin confirmed (sort of)
  15. Elven, thanks for all You are a God among men (kinda), and I (we) really appreciate all of your info gained witing in long lines under the sun I'm very happy on what i read here. The game returning on basics and evolving from here, looking fresh even if the same feeling, new graphic and such.. I just need to hybernate and wake up on game release Also, i need one of those fan. I mean, for real Oh, and just a question: no IB yet? Even if it looks like they are focusing on clashesand RC this time...it may be not here
  16. I'm quite sad that Daisuke didn't followed the design choices followed in Overture (new designes and such), but in the end they don't look that bad. I hope they keep the Overture Dizzy design, it was very nice

  20. No, she's not? She had been freed in the overture ending, since Valentine was defeated. I also think Daisuke wanted to make her a character in the planned overture expansion (that never happened), probably sharing Ky and Sin servants If you ask me, Dizzy and Sin are a must. Eddie is already been shown, so he'll be playable too in this locktest, probably I also hope that, according to Daisuke original planning (he said that in an interview) President Chipp and half cyborg Potemkin become a reality

I just think that is hilarious how you guys just flamed for 200 pages against FRC, and now that there are another RC interesting mechanic you're gonna flame on that lol the new RC mechanics looks nice. It adds combo potential but at greater cost (50% on projectile), and simplifies the FRC manuality for the new players.. Even if, i still think that the "slowing time" process could be active only in certain frames, who knows. It was not written in there, in the end But, as usual, without having nothing in hand, we can't judge. Just be patient and trust Ishiwatari, the man-God of Humanity About the new characters... (or Chacaters? Arcsys mystypes is too ridicoulos to be real at this point) Sin will surely be one of those, for too many reasons. Inside of me, I just want to have Izuna, screw Anji I doubt that the doc will be out GG2 thou, it is too focused on strategy. But never say never...
  23. Impossible dust would not probably be possible to do, we get the sensation that the new dust animation is like the first GG, not cancellable & very fast. That would also explain the impossibility to burst All the rest is speculation, even if i doubt that they had removed the guard bar system
