Well, if you don't like it that's one thing. You should play who you like first. But, let's take a character that's top tier and can just faceroll everybody. Whoever plays that character is going to be able to get away with lots of sloppy stuff and won't have to ever develop their game as much as somebody who has a character that has problems that the player himself needs to overcome to stand a chance. The tier won't have a drastic effect usually but having a less capable character can force you to explore as many options as possible that you otherwise wouldn't need to. Even if the character is worse, your own skill as a player can be better. But yeah what I'm getting at is, the important part is developing your skill, and which you can transfer between games and characters; at least, the basics of it. In games like BB you have to specialize in just one character if you want to go anywhere. They are too complex and different to just dabble in a few and get by.

Playing a lower tier character will make you a better player anyway. You'll have to close the gap yourself rather than relying on the character. It's like training weights.

If you get good enough with your character you can overcome their handicaps.

Yeah, tiers are for high level play, like comparing two cars in a neck and neck race. But if you're still learning how to drive in the first place it doesn't really matter which one you can squeeze the most juice out of as a race car driver. The stuff holding you back is knowing how to turn and parallel park and things like that. But it's nothing to be ashamed of. You're on the same path as everybody else. Some people just started walking down it earlier.

He would probably survive it anyway. Plus you have all the radiation going out into the air. The Black Beast at least created a new power source that the world lives off of now. The nukes just bring death.

Trying to burst 2C is the worst thing you could do. It's better to just let it hit you and burst somewhere else. Think about it, how often do you have a situation where you go for 2C but they can burst before it hits without getting screwed anyway. Or maybe I'm not thinking of the right situation.

I'd like to hear from other Hakumen players about bursting points in combos, since I'm a little iffy about doing it during j.2C. It works for me when I do it, but there might be better spots.

Rest easy, you won't have to worry about combos anymore. Wait. All of Lambdas are the same way. :P BURST ~> fall into a thousand swords.

It's not. But she at least gets to try stuff instead of just backing off. Although just doing normal mixup on wakeup is fine too instead of going for the comet oki.

Comet oki actually works on Hakumen if Makoto knows what she's doing. The good ones I fought figured a way to do it and make it work even with the counter. You do the comet orb then jump up, and come down with j.2C or j.B or something. If Hakumen counters it, it whiffs while you're above and you come down with mixup. Of course they could counter your jump in, but it's hard to tell if you're going to do a jump in or go for a throw or whatever. That's as far as I got with it anyway. Maybe there's some super secret way to just blow the entire thing out of the water but I haven't seen it.
