  1. Eh, I don't want him to have a command grab. His pressure game has always been about frame traps, throw setups and spacing people out (how I get most of my combos), not mixups and such. There's already a ton of ways to get people with normal throw TRM stuff. Plus, he's supposed to be at his weakest without stars anyway.
  2. Ragna gonna be S tier again when everyone else gets crippled and he is just the same lool I'd rather have him be S than other characters though.

  4. It seems like every character in this game is a Carl clone. How does it work. I'm tempted to get P4A but I don't really like that play style.
  5. An opinion can still have an impact if it's what the majority of people believe. Look at the SF community's opinion on BB and how it affects how they treat it and other anime games, etc. The balance is good, as far a simple balancing, but there's different kinds of balancing. For instance, you could balance the game by nerfing everyone, or by giving everyone tools to handle things. If you reduced every character to one move that was identical the game would be balanced, but it would be pretty bad balancing because it would be a terrible game to play. As for dying on the USA, what do you think it is then.
  6. Just look at the comparisons people make between BB's pace and Persona's and you'll see.
  7. It's a small price to pay. Extend had the closest balance and look how well it was received. Quickly became the most boring and earliest dying iteration.

Because if you wait he's just going to get set up behind a huge obstacle course and you'll never get him. As for counters, it depends on what strings he uses. One of the autopilot strings Arakunes love to do is 2A > 6A or 6A > 5D. You can counter those if you see them doing it. Otherwise you have to pay attention to their habits. Pretty much all of them will mash backdash, 5A into curse, or try to jump out while getting pressured, so be ready to frame trap and catch them on those. You can use 5D to counter Arakune j.B. It's better than using an actual anti air.

  14. I literally looked at the character select screen and said "dropped." That and the entire style of the game. It was totally different from SF2. Only years later did I look at it again and think it wasn't that bad. Yeah, I have that feeling too. Although if I was going to sub someone it would probably be someone different than Hakumen.

  16. It does 600 damage raw and you can't combo off it anyway so... wouldn't normal 6B be better anyway.
  17. Someone should try and use Zantetsu and see if it could be useful for once. The other combo routes aren't bearing any fruit so we might as well try.

  19. I knew Bang would have a bigger part in the story. Excellent. And Azrael is supposed to be like Hakumen... that weak point thing reminds me of Arakune though. I liked the Jin answer too, taking into account the character's personality when designing the sprite. Well, that makes sense.

  25. I liked the separate character paths. The CT Reconstruction arc was so long compared to them too. I like just beating them in short chunks.
