Ah, so she already took the Grimoire from him basically. But then why did the Black Beast pause for a year from absorbing Ragna... unless Nu just was that happy Ragna joined the fun. I think that one bad end where Ragna overloads on the Azure Grimoire has him turning into the beast and practically destroying most of the world before he's put down. If that's the case then I wonder what Nu brings to the equation.

Is it possible for him to become an incomplete Black Beast? Like, Nu apparently became the original one, before Bloodedge got absorbed into her. So that means the Black Beast didn't even really need Ragna. Maybe it works the same the other way around.

I forget, if Ragna overloads his use of the Azure Grimoire, does he just turn into a burnt out husk of seither, or does he turn into the Black Beast anyway, or something in between?

My mind used to be blown by that, but I learned the only way to deal with it to out mash them. :P MASHBLUE Especially mashy characters like Tao. You can't let them hit buttons, because they're always going to be pushing them the instant there's a millisecond of quiet. You have to push it FIRST to make sure you get them blocking. They give no fucks, so you have to give no fucks harder. Listen, and understand. Mashers are out out there. They can't be bargained with. They can't be reasoned with. They don't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.

Well, I wouldn't want to play it either without knowing about the cast and stuff since half the draw of the game is based on an existing universe. Otherwise I don't really care about the characters.
