lool, I was actually thinking of Rachel when I said it. I always block all her mixup until she hits me with j.A. I even block the first j.A, but she gets me with a second j.A. But it's not so bad since it's only like 1.5k.

Yeah, even if you changed your character, it's not Plat that's making the mistakes, it's you. So you would just have the same problems with whoever you picked up next. Your only choice is to get better. Unless you just don't like Plat.

Don't drop her just because you need to work on her. Everyone sucked with their character at one point. You don't just pick up a character and instantly become god with them. Most of us have been playing our characters for like four games now, so it took that long to get to this point. Your reason to play a character should be if you like their style or not.

Yeah, all those people always end up thinking nobody wants to play with them because they suck, but it's because they just end up as annoying douchebags. Seriously, it's not like every time you play someone they're sitting there with a report card going, "Ah, he missed another DP. I can't believe this," and then logging out once you go over the limit. It's just a random name on the internet to them that they won't remember five minutes later.

First thing's first: play more calmly. You run around hitting buttons desperately a lot, and when you hit buttons without thinking you're leaving your character wide open without being aware of the consequences. Every time you try to do a move, you give the opponent a chance to hit you, so you should only do moves when you're aware of what's going on instead of just running up there and hitting buttons hoping it'll hit. The Lambda forums can help you with the Lambda stuff.

Everybody gets hit by everything, including stupid shit. It's all conditioning and what you expect.

It's pointless to give people advice unless they ask for it. They just get salty and won't listen. Otherwise, your playing does all the talking for you. If they're interested in getting better, it's all spelled out for them right there.

I'm in Virginia now because of work, but I come back to visit my family every so often. I'm from King of Prussia. I'm surprised you haven't played with LK or Stickbug or gone to any of the Majors. It's pretty convenient having it right in Philly. If I still lived there I would go every time.
