I should also mention, thanks to Toan poking at me, that Sledge actually DOES have its uses. It's one of the Tager tools that defines the matchup and forces you to be careful with your swords. But it's also one of the things Tager gets murdered by Nu for when he spams it, so good Tagers are very careful with it.

I do that unless they make it a habit. In which case I just bust out my best combo video moves.

Matchmaking systems only really work that well when you have a gigantic player pool to draw from like Halo. Then there's enough matches to accurately give someone a level, and there's enough players of all levels online at all times for you to actually be matched up against. I'm not sure what you expect them to do when you've put down the stick though, lol.

Sledge is actually terrible. So the fact that he was patient and never used it means you were probably fighting a good Tager. You can't poke out of Genesic Emerald Tager Buster (720). It's completely invincible when it grabs you, so if you're next to him when he does it, prepare to see "TAGER WIN." But ground grabs won't work if you're a single pixel off the ground, so you have to jump away or already be on the way out when he does it. And your best bet is to run away constantly and keep him at range with your swords. Once Tager gets near you it's over.

Hmm, it wasn't that hard to do the wall stick for Hakumen for me. I have a harder time remembering which character it applies to. And I'm glad you posted the matches. I'll watch them when I get home. I wanted to see how you guys played.

the fact that you didnt say arakune as a hakumen player is troubling how did sena and luna even end up together anyway

20 is like a short nap, i've lost track of sets where i just lost the entire night. i think the last one was 80 games but i never gave up on any matches because you always have a chance to come back and even if you lose you can use it to figure out what to do better in the next match even if theyre going to hit you with the game winning combo you never know if theyre going to drop it
