every time i sub a character vs hakumen stuff happens that blows my mind and never happens ever when i play hakumen haku IAD j2Cs, i tager 2C, it clashes and i lose to 3C apparently AC doesnt do anything anymore, so what do you do to deal with that, backdash 360?

I RETURN FROM OTAKON Were there any more Hakumen changes? I've thought before that it might be pure nostalgia that drives fond memories of CT. But I've booted it back up and played it before years later and still enjoyed it. For Tager, what I recall of Mike Z's objection was basically that in CT he had explosive damage off 720 and his combos that he liked, but in CS1 they toned that down and slightly buffed his normals. He was technically a more solid character, but he was more boring and still terrible anyway.

no its true thats one of the main complaints people have had for this version, their character losing their spirit

im not really worried about combo nerfing, every single game theyre like "yo we got dis, no more big combos, you'll have to work for it" and then 3 days after launch someone find a 7k hazama combo

That's true. It doesn't matter if your character is great if everyone drops the game because it's ass. But loketests, etc.

What frame do Gauntlet Hades and 6D go airborne? I've been grabbed out of GH while throw baiting even after the GH animation started.

Dang. I figured the whole point was that she'd get 5DD but with 5D recovery. So they'd still be blocking 5DD while she rushes down.

Yeah, once I realized it was an air reset I started barriering. At first I thought I was landing and just wasn't blocking right. Interesting, I haven't really played any Jins since EX. But I've got enough built up experience to get the handle on him since his tricks are usually the same type. A lot of the gimmicks I know are older, but there have been a lot over the years. That was fun. We should play again sometime. That's it for tonight though. Gotta sleep for work. Also those scrambles at the end of the round had me feeling like I was playing Tager at some points. Both of us slowly closing in from opposite sides of the screen.

I thought for sure after I whiffed my first astral in the match that you wouldn't expect the second one in the same round. Resets... let's see, there was that one where you'd freeze me in the air, then I'd unfreeze just as I was falling towards you and you'd reset me before I hit the ground. And that one where you'd knock me down with 3C, I think, and if I teched wrong I'd get hit with an overhead or a new combo. Also that one in the corner where you'd do that Jin 22C I think it is, and the SMP would make me tech into another combo. Aaand... I think that's it. So basically I'd never seen any of them lol
