Alright cool. Yeah I'm banned from GFAQs currently too since some folks got butthurt. :P

Wow that sucks. The prison part that is. My friend's in the military, he really likes it. :P Hopefully you can have them go easy on you. How did you get wrapped up into this? You can PM it if you want. :P You played Hazama so much you had to start trolling IRL.

By the way, we're on each others' friends lists but we haven't even gotten any games in! We should play each other sometime before it becomes one of those: > is on my FL > we never talk > we never play > why are we friends situations :P Although I kind of have that going with a few people since I'm barely on CS these days as it is. But just because you have a friend who's busy or not around doesn't mean they're not your friend~

Whenever I 2A someone with Hakumen I feel like I'm hitting them with a surgical strike :P Precise and deliberate. 5A I was thinking of because it would hit around the area where they would be jumping and it's fast enough to hit them unlike his other moves... and if they block it you can lock them down at least. Gotta try it out though. I always forget to do it in the actual match when it's this situation.

What do you do? My biggest problem or the thing that would help me out the most if I could stop it is to keep Ragnas from just hovering around my head like a fly, they like to jump cancel a lot of stuff to bait out counters or throws, and if I don't fall for it they tend to be too close to punish with a slow move like 2C. I suspect 5A might be something to try here but I haven't yet. They'll jump, they can j.B or j.C on the way down, or just fall and block if they think I'm gonna try to counter, then punish that. (For instance, I might j.D their j.C on the way down, but if they just fall then I'm gonna eat a combo, which makes me hesitate to try and stop those jump ins.) Also I totally agree with your opinion that you gave me on CS way back when we were playing in CT.
But tonight I decided to play a bit and was reminded of my Ragna impairment. Actually, it's something that is a problem in general, if Jin does it then it's the same issue. -
Ahhhh qwerty, I suck at this game now :P I can't keep Ragna out! I mean, a good Ragna. Other Ragnas it's easy, but if they're good they just 6A anything I try in the air (j.C for instance) and j.AAAAA is pretty pesky for locking me down there too so they're on top of me all the way down and can continue into a blockstring when we land. 4C seems too slow to be dependable. And if they're real random or unpredictable with their blockstrings then I just get my mind blown trying to counter it.

I was wondering, what do you do against Ragna to keep him out? I was playing again tonight and I just get wrecked if it's a good Ragna. They get in, they act super random and my mind gets blown while I try to figure out what they're going to do next so I can counter. The Ragnas I have the hardest time against like to just jump around and hover over my head, throwing out j.B's and j.Cs on the way down. They're pretty much too close to hit with anything really, except maybe 5A which I need to try, and if they think I'm gonna counter or attack they can just do nothing and block on the way down.

I have a new theory for dealing with Ragna. I'm not sure what he does around you, but the Ragnas I have the most trouble with like to jump around my head constantly trying to bait out throws or counters. If I try to throw out an attack, it's going to be too slow at that range, unless I predict it, but then they can just block. Same with counter, so they can just jump, block an attack, throw one out if they see me hesitating, or see me counter and just land and punish it. I'm thinking 5A might be a good answer to this though... it's just a matter of getting my brain to actually register it and make it happen during the match instead of seeing them go up and down over and over again. What do you do?

I heard you were raging from online today.
Too bad we didn't get to play this weekend, I wanted to but I ended up getting swept up into Labor Day festivities with friends and family I hadn't seen in a while. I got to play offline CS too, and it was... fun... which is weird since my appetite for the game pretty much dried up. So it might just be the netcode after all and not the game. I've just been doing reckless balls-to-the-wall-rushown Hakumen to keep myself entertained.
I'll be in the area again every so often, so there's still a chance we can get games in. -
Haha, no problem, I was just wondering what you've been up to. I haven't really played in forever :P The lag is one problem, but the game just doesn't appeal to me as much. I still play, but I haven't really been trying to get better, I just goof around or try to scrub by on my CT skills. Although... I have fun when I play offline with my brother, so maybe it is all because of the netcode.

Hey Andy! I wanted to message you on Facebook but I forgot to add you and now I can't find the GameFAQs thread you gave yours to me :P PM it to me! Me and Arcade and LK are still up for getting together this Sunday. We were wondering if you're going to be around or if you're gonna be at that NYC tournament?
