  1. They're just QQing about TK Tsubaki :P
  2. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOB

  3. Alright cool. Yeah I'm banned from GFAQs currently too since some folks got butthurt. :P

  4. Wow that sucks. The prison part that is. My friend's in the military, he really likes it. :P Hopefully you can have them go easy on you. How did you get wrapped up into this? You can PM it if you want. :P You played Hazama so much you had to start trolling IRL.

  5. By the way, we're on each others' friends lists but we haven't even gotten any games in! We should play each other sometime before it becomes one of those: > is on my FL > we never talk > we never play > why are we friends situations :P Although I kind of have that going with a few people since I'm barely on CS these days as it is. But just because you have a friend who's busy or not around doesn't mean they're not your friend~

  6. Ever heard of the Ragna player DarkHolyOrders? He kind of reminded me of your play style.

  7. Whenever I 2A someone with Hakumen I feel like I'm hitting them with a surgical strike :P Precise and deliberate. 5A I was thinking of because it would hit around the area where they would be jumping and it's fast enough to hit them unlike his other moves... and if they block it you can lock them down at least. Gotta try it out though. I always forget to do it in the actual match when it's this situation.

  8. What do you do? My biggest problem or the thing that would help me out the most if I could stop it is to keep Ragnas from just hovering around my head like a fly, they like to jump cancel a lot of stuff to bait out counters or throws, and if I don't fall for it they tend to be too close to punish with a slow move like 2C. I suspect 5A might be something to try here but I haven't yet. They'll jump, they can j.B or j.C on the way down, or just fall and block if they think I'm gonna try to counter, then punish that. (For instance, I might j.D their j.C on the way down, but if they just fall then I'm gonna eat a combo, which makes me hesitate to try and stop those jump ins.) Also I totally agree with your opinion that you gave me on CS way back when we were playing in CT. :I: But tonight I decided to play a bit and was reminded of my Ragna impairment. Actually, it's something that is a problem in general, if Jin does it then it's the same issue.

  9. Ahhhh qwerty, I suck at this game now :P I can't keep Ragna out! I mean, a good Ragna. Other Ragnas it's easy, but if they're good they just 6A anything I try in the air (j.C for instance) and j.AAAAA is pretty pesky for locking me down there too so they're on top of me all the way down and can continue into a blockstring when we land. 4C seems too slow to be dependable. And if they're real random or unpredictable with their blockstrings then I just get my mind blown trying to counter it.

  10. I was wondering, what do you do against Ragna to keep him out? I was playing again tonight and I just get wrecked if it's a good Ragna. They get in, they act super random and my mind gets blown while I try to figure out what they're going to do next so I can counter. The Ragnas I have the hardest time against like to just jump around and hover over my head, throwing out j.B's and j.Cs on the way down. They're pretty much too close to hit with anything really, except maybe 5A which I need to try, and if they think I'm gonna counter or attack they can just do nothing and block on the way down.

  11. I have a new theory for dealing with Ragna. I'm not sure what he does around you, but the Ragnas I have the most trouble with like to jump around my head constantly trying to bait out throws or counters. If I try to throw out an attack, it's going to be too slow at that range, unless I predict it, but then they can just block. Same with counter, so they can just jump, block an attack, throw one out if they see me hesitating, or see me counter and just land and punish it. I'm thinking 5A might be a good answer to this though... it's just a matter of getting my brain to actually register it and make it happen during the match instead of seeing them go up and down over and over again. What do you do?

  12. I believe something like that is in Haku's challenge mode combos. I need to update the first post soon... It's pretty good though, as I was looking for a replacement to Haku's old 3C > 6B > Gurren > 6C and such combos from CT.
  13. You need to input the airdash the first moment you can after your j.2A connects, and then input the j.2A after the airdash as soon as you can or it'll miss. So you're just not timing it right.
  14. Well, everyone always talked about it like Lambda was never gonna win a match against Haku again. :P I don't know if our matches are representative since it was early on into the game and with more matchup experience it would probably be different. I never really advanced past that though since the netcode is so terrible. But yeah, from personal experience, I agree. Yeah, I know, but that's too slow to do on reaction. You have to do it on prediction. If the Hazama is any good, he knows you're looking to cut his chains, and he's not just going to just throw them at me to make them easy to cut. If I predict wrong and whiff the j.2A, THEN he can throw the snake and CH me, and if I end up doing nothing he can throw it out and have me block it, etc. That's just from my experience though, and you can still cut it now and then. But it doesn't really define the match or anything.
  15. I heard you were raging from online today. :v: Too bad we didn't get to play this weekend, I wanted to but I ended up getting swept up into Labor Day festivities with friends and family I hadn't seen in a while. I got to play offline CS too, and it was... fun... which is weird since my appetite for the game pretty much dried up. So it might just be the netcode after all and not the game. I've just been doing reckless balls-to-the-wall-rushown Hakumen to keep myself entertained. :eng101: I'll be in the area again every so often, so there's still a chance we can get games in.

  16. I miss playing with you :( But I don't miss playing online :(

  17. Gimmicks have their place.

  18. Haha, no problem, I was just wondering what you've been up to. I haven't really played in forever :P The lag is one problem, but the game just doesn't appeal to me as much. I still play, but I haven't really been trying to get better, I just goof around or try to scrub by on my CT skills. Although... I have fun when I play offline with my brother, so maybe it is all because of the netcode.

  19. This chart seems good to me. Hazama's been getting better and better, and I haven't felt like he's had that big a weakness against Haku when I play against Haz. Sure, I can supposedly cut the chains, but you pretty much have to predict it, he can throw them out all he wants, half the C moves are too slow or have just don't cover enough range (j.C) to matter when it comes to cutting, and if you miss you're screwed. I feel like he can zone Haku pretty well, he can get a life lead and run run run. It depends on how good the Hazama is though. If he can't keep you out then it ends pretty quick. On that note, just speaking from personal experience, I don't think the Haku Lambda matchup is as bad for Lambda as it originally appeared. (I kind of got that impression just from watching match vids before CS came out too so it fits.) She can still zone him pretty well. If the Lambda player has gotten comfortable with all of her tools, then I have a hell of a hard time getting in. (Although the number of players who can actually effectively use her like that can counted on one hand instead of anyone who picked up Nu for a few minutes and could hit buttons.) But again I'm sure there's more to the story with Lambda having so many nerfs. I never thought Ragna was that big a deal. You just need matchup experience. If the Ragna player brings in RC shenanigans then it changes things a bit but that's still something you can learn and be ready for.
  20. Hey Andy! I wanted to message you on Facebook but I forgot to add you and now I can't find the GameFAQs thread you gave yours to me :P PM it to me! Me and Arcade and LK are still up for getting together this Sunday. We were wondering if you're going to be around or if you're gonna be at that NYC tournament?
