RAGUNAAAAAAAAAAAA Hmmm, I'd say he's a bit better than CT Jin. But I get the idea. I wonder how CT Haku would do VS CS Ragna. :P You know what's weird? Even though Haku got buffed, he's never in any Japanese tournaments and only 1 made it into SBO. Makes me think he's not as good as we thought. Or still has some huge flaws that knock him out (probably zoning, so far I still have trouble with Rachel lobelias lewl, although only from Banzatou. You can try cutting them but then they just wind them and screw up your timing, you get CH into combo and knocked full screen, repeat.) It irks me too when my character feels like that. Sometimes I have some move (like 4C VS Tager) that I don't want to use, but eventually I get over it, plus good Tagers can deal with it.

That's why I liked using Hakumen. :> I kind of need to get good at the game in general before I can pick up other characters though. I'd be just as lost with them. But in CT after I had fought 94854985349843 Jins and Omni and Baiken and such, it was easy to just pick him and do whatever and I was already on par with say, a level 50 Jin just from the matchup experience and doing what the Jins I fought did.

Oh no no, I meant *I* could 6A Ragna or anyone else in CT, I didn't have to worry about positioning VS air attacks, whereas now without 6A you're forced to zone full screen to keep people out, as Hakumen. If I wanna deal with your 6A, I'd just j.D it ;P Yeah, getting hit behind 6A happened to Haku a lot too. I was never able to quite deal with that in CT. Jin's j.B just raped me.

Also a LOT of his combos became super timing and spacing specific... not that it's beyond my grasp but it's kind of annoying. :P Also there's a bunch of ultra tight links like 5C, 5C. I have to master them, although it's not that different than when I had to learn the falling j.C combo in CT. That took until I was level 60 to ever be able to do it. That said... I have fun scrubbing around with Tsubaki and I always liked using Jin in CT too. But I'm too loyal to Haku to change. :P *rages*

Also, when I tried him at EVO against Ragna I immediately sensed a difference. When you had 6A, you didn't have to worry about positioning yourself against air attacks, you just would 6A it and then move on forward, so I could rush you down, or move in close, or stay midscreen, whatever. With j.C it's an effective poking tool, but you have to lead your shot a bit so I can't wait 'til you do something, then react (unless you're far) so it forces me to play full screen. If I got up close, then I wouldn't be able to keep you off me. Actually, there'd j.D and Hotaru, but it's not the same. :P

OMG! EXACTLY. You hit it on the head. I couldn't articulate it. The j.C / 4C stuff kinda bores me and it feels like they made him more braindead. I mean, at the higher levels it kinda will get you raped, even against Tager, but my blood started boiling a little when I watched some Haku just do literally 4CCCCCCC and then one j.C followed by 4CCCCC an entire night. He must have had his C button on turbo. If Pisces was going to switch mains then he just found it. Granted Haku has always been a scrub killer among noobs, just C them and they run into it. :P Although he still does big damage... but I don't quite get that many opportunities to do it anymore... I think some of it is just not being used to the matchups. Arcade's kicking my ass with Lambda right now, I did better against him when he was using Nu.

Bring it, boi. I'm not very intimidated by Ragna for some reason. Feels like CT :P Although I for some reason kinda liked Haku's CT moveset better. 6A > j.C, at least funwise.

How come you never use Ragna or Tager any more? That ship sail?
