Ragna has always really annoyed me. You just can't back dash against this fucker, he has too many ways to punish it (5B and Dead Spike being the main ones). However if one is good at instant blocking then Ragna should never connect with dead spike in a block string, I'm pretty sure everything has a large enough hole to be punished by 5B on reaction.

yeah maybe tager will be a good character this time SYKE

Pros: - Strong average damage, both chargeless and with charge - Extremely dangerous up close between frame traps, safe normals on block, delayable gatlings, unblockable - Dangerous mid-full screen too between 236X and 214D - Amazing corner carry. One charge = everything ends in the corner. - Strong corner pressure, OTG 6A for forced tech. Cons - Terrible air game - Short ranged normals and 5B's huge hittable box makes it hard to win poke wars - Sucky overhead

http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?12205-Dustloop-Project-Scene-Interviews-GET-EXPOSED. We gotta get in on this! I'll be an interviewer/interviewee!

It's useless to everyone in its current state precisely because it doesn't have a follow-up. It's a decent buff so you might change your mind.

6B nerfs are pretty painful, but otherwise the nerfs are lighter than I expected. I hope C asteroid vision will actually be useful again.

Hazama vs Tager, lol. If this is accurate then CSII is quite impressively balanced. I can believe it.

Aw shit, I'm at work and it still feels like Wednesday to me I'll considering dropping by if I have nothing to do this saturday. If I do then I'll definitely plan to come to the next one.

....what? I've a question for this thread, as it seems the most relevant for it. Are there any match-ups that are truly worse than, say, 6.5-3.5? There have always been more than a few stupidly lopsided match-ups in BB, so I'm wondering if this is at all present in CSII.

Best Carl player is in GA (Ivysaur>>>>Zong). I'm pretty sure that Spark lives in Washington, Lord Knight lives in New Jersey, Omnisscythe lives in New York, XDest (best Taokaka I've seen) lives in Canada. Oh yeah, and the best Tsubaki is in GA =D I try to offset the horrible locations of players with learning many characters in training mode, so I don't have to figure out match-ups on the fly. also seiki, if you're going even against Stickbug then you are playing against Stickbug. You'll know you're playing Lord Knight if he's using Litchi/Taokaka and stomping the crap out of you. He sure does to me. Milln: The tournament is on Friday? Definitely can't go because of work.

Because 6B~C > 214A~C~A combos. This allows her to turn any hit from anywhere into huge damage for no meter.
-
If she tries to do midscreen oki bubbles then you can back roll away. If she does knockdown > bubble, neutral tech, instant block the bubble and 5A will catch a lot of platinums who think her oki is good.

Rachel is the best choice imo. More all around solid than arakune, high skill ceiling and gross as hell rushdown/lockdown when mastered.

and ZOMG LAMBDA'S BROKEN QQ. Also I didn't even know there was a qualifier at PZ this year. Was there?
-
Otakon was fun, tournament was stupid and I knew I should have just gone to iron editor. Glad I got to meet y'all. Hopefully Otakon won't be on the same weekend as Evo next year?
-
you wwere at ceo? Which one were you? Also to whom it may concern I am coming to maryland for my first time for otakon. If any of you are cool and going then you can find me playing bb in the videogame room :D

ga will never get good numbers for blazblue again unless it's for final round. or AWA? I decided to go to a party and be with my boyfriend instead of get disappointed by BB and get destroyed in SFIV. I don't regret it. The tennessee monthly's get a good turnout, way better than any semi-major in GA.
-
If MK will actually be there then I might. I play Yun.
-
People will never get used to it. You should just be like me and practice lol more, there's no need to train in bb when everyone is so bad :/ I will still enter bb at revival, also plan on entering sfiv. I'm also going to otakon on the 29th so I'll win that anime con money!
-
I'm going to otakon on the 30th so I won't see you guys at the next monthly. Nor can I retrieve my umbrella. Also arcade edition is fun especially if you play yun like me.

Not entirely true. Her normals are as "bad" as Tsubaki's, and I think they're both pretty good. She doesn't have a reversal but does have one of the best CA's in the game even after its nerf. Remember Tokido at CEO? He saved ALL of his meter for CA's unless a super would end the round, she can afford to now that her average damage is so retarded. Her pressure is a lot better with the change to instant blocking and increased speed on some drives. Yeah, you can punish 2D on block, I've gotten to the point that I can react to it about 90% of the time after blocking. But the reward for punishing with a 2A/5A combo is so pathetic compared to her reward for landing a random 2D that you ALWAYS have to adapt around the possibility. 4D is also extremely safe on block on top of being a strong drive and leading to stupid damage. She is definitely a solid character.

he went to australia, i mean really, what reason would he have to practice for that?

kind of like you
