  1. sorry, I've been busy. I've read the post and you guys are make this overly complex, if you land 1 hit before the first 2C, your in great condition, the combo's tech point are large and easy, if you land 2 hits, it becomes somewhat challenging. if you land 3 hits, the tech points are nasty tight and you can only, off of the second 2C, hjc j.2C airdash j.2C j.2C j.2C Also, please let me stress that ending air combos with your opponent close to you is really important with hakumen. He is a close range fighter believe it or not and his best tools are in the air. So the importance of juggling opponents and setting in air tech traps is boundless. Managing mag is important to, please try to keep the rule of 1 mag per 1 k plus 1 k when you guys make these combos, and realize when hakumen's met his limit of damage. (most commonly 10 outside of mugen)
  2. um... no the delay one 214B (2 hit) to 236A varies in distance and character. mid screen you shouldn't do it at all really. Also Hakumen is not a character that revolves around hit-confirming, none of his links are that tough and all of his hits have a huge delay in between them. like 6C counter hit 6C counter hit > 236A 623AA jc falling j.C land 2C hjc j.2C airdash j.C none of that is hit confirming but timing. along with the corner loop, it's just timing. Edit: and the only links i can think of that needs hit confirming would be haku hop cancel j.214C land 5C 6B CH > infinite > 5C and 3C CH > 2C

  7. hahaha, then you should be doing 3.4k, atless. if your falling from a airdash and you land jumping C, do this j.C land 5C 623AA jc Falling j.C land 2C hjc > j.2C airdash j.C they most commonly tech into all of hakumen's confort zones form this combo tech's forward this is the one my brother does most often to attempt to catch me off guard. when he does and i notice it quick enough. I will throw 2C or 6A at the sound of his tech and 2C hjc j.2C airdash j.C or hjc grab >j.C > land 2C > hjc > j.2C > airdash >j.C tech's neutral throw 5C cause normally if it catches them it's a free 3.5k with 5C > 623AA jc falling j.C land 2C hjc j.2C airdash j.C or hop and grab cause there scaried and it's mix-up techs backwards IAD grab is my normal routine if i'm messing around on rank or something, but normally i'll fish with 6C and if i have the magna shippu and the alternative for all of these is IAD hotaru and hop split hotaru if there in the air hakumen has alot of options, it just took 6 months to find them xD
  8. and if you have that magna chances are you have 8, and getting a CH 6B i such a dream situation that most people would kill for, going straight to the no magna for 4k damage would be advised. i've been work on some infinite combos and 6B CH > Mugen > 5C >214B 1hit > 236A> 623A> 2147B> 214C> land> 5C (corner now) >214B1 hit >41236C 1 hit >623AA delay >2147C >5C > 41236C 1 hit > 623AA >2147C >5C >214B 1 hit > 632146C

  10. it's because there's to many hits slayer, i think haku's grab counts as 2 and gurren is another 2, the corner loop gets really tight after 3 hit before teh first 2C in the combo or 5b if you will. but yea, slayer, your on the right track with end the combos with j.C, it puts you closer to your opponent and in a better position to tech trap. for combos like ~ 5C 623AA jc falling j.C land 2C hjc j.2C airdash j.2C everyone knows that when you airdash quick enough you can land j.C , doing this has to many benefits. 1 puts you close enough to your opponent to tech trap and continue to apply pressure 2 close enough to land and hyper jump for another grab 3 or my favorite, a jump installed hotaru. for instant 3500 dam add on combo. oh, and the only time you should j.214C, or the only time i do it is in combos like~ close sweep CH combo 3C CH > 2C > jc > j.B > jc > j.C > j.214C > j.C > land > 2C > hjc > j.2C 2C anti air hit > hjc > j.B > jc > j.C > j.214C > j.C > land > 2C > hjc > j.2C and my Air throw IAD hight air throw > j.C > j.214C > land > 2B or 6B > 236A > step forward > 5C > 236A > 6C or my favorite air throw > j.C > j.214B > jc > falling j.C > land > 2C > hjc > j.2C > air dash > j.C - tech trap step Edit: Slayer you can only land j.C after j.214C from hyper jump hight, other than that, just time the j.B

  13. you also have to take into consideration that in such a tipsy match-up, you need going for you to win. by this i mean, the chances of winning a match-up VS. nu online is a hell of a lot slimmer than winning offline. the openings that all nu-es have and the mistakes that all nu-es make are small and can only be punish within a brief window. haku as a character that makes his way by exploiting opening, gets boned by the silliness of online play in these types of match-ups (Rachel,V-13, Arakune, litchi, bang, tager and Carl). what do you think happens when you take that away, or should i say when the lag takes that away.

Just to throw this out there, every character has a combo limit, for damage and for tech time. for hakumen outside of infinite it's around 12. trying to land certain staple transitions in combo like j.2C airdash j.2C and 623AA jc fall j.C land 2C becomes incredibly difficult if the moves you do before hand accumulate. i always link the falling j.C combo from different starts like 2A 236A 623AA (crouching) 2B 236A 623AA 5B 623A 6B 623A 5C 623A 3C CH mid range away 623AA 6C 236A 623AA j.C 5C 623AA and landing the last j.2C airdash j.2C is very tight, also shoot for j.C , puts you in a better position to tech trap.

  18. well well well, if it isn't my old haku practice partner, a lot sure has changed. I've really missed having a good haku to go up against that i don't lag to. nice to see your proving help to the country, but haku nation drafted you first xD, let's have some casuals before break ends. I think you'd be interested in some thing.

Brotrr most of that was quotes from a vid and i drop alot cause i dont really do to much online play now that me and my bro have arcade sticks. most of my online match feeling out my combos as i go. i'm going from laggy match to a different/ laggyer match, of which i will have to time the combos differently, it's a pain. Plez don't start this who grammar thing, it gets to a point when you don't want to hear stupid people say stupid things. In regard to wake up renka, i can see why it's a bad idea, but i scared the hell out of that jin so i knew what i could get away with. also it's hard to ib with lag, but i do need to try to ib online more. also, even with hotaru it's a guessing game, i throw it so fast, sometimes, that the input overides itself do to lag, the fatal flaw of online play. But yea i will try to do these things. edit: that stupid people stupid things comment wasn't referred to either of you. plez, continue critiquing.
