  4. Just noticed while watching a higher quality video: Nu's Drives do Chip damage now (looks to be about 10 each). I've watched so many videos and completely missed this detail. This is a big push for Nu's zoning. Your opponent can't just block all day.
  5. I think I would use it since people will just block Nu because she doesn't have 4B anymore. Also, removing Barrier is always good.
  6. It's the same as CP1.1 in animation and function. Nu is just never that close to use it and she still gets outstanding damage without it. Everyone is better off saving it for a CA or Super finish.

  11. We just want a character who has good mobility, good zoning skills and reasonable mixup at the cost of our defensive options. Zoning means absolutely nothing when we have no way to hurt the opponent outside of a punishment. They get a life lead, they can zone us better than we can zone them.
  12. And once again, it's also slower looking. They took away 4B and now they take away Crescent options, she doesn't have any good options to open the opponent up. If someone gets a life lead, she just loses.
  13. I think Nu will be fine. Everyone is getting destroyed while Nu is getting more zoning options. Our 4B loss sucks, but we can make everything safe with Act Parsers. Also, what's Crescent Saber's change? You can hold and press C to alter.
  14. Without counter hit, that's a really good addition. Can be used with all sorts of AA baits. Also, it looks like Crescent is a different shape. It's smaller, hugs her more, and goes directly under her which may be useful for hitting opponents straight below her. Also, I assume the Astrals will be different from one another.
  15. If they keep the backwards moving 236D, then it would create an ambiguous cross up in the corner since projectiles don't go offscreen anymore.
  16. j.214D is noticeably slower (or is altered in a way to make it stand out more). Nu gets into pose first, then the blade comes out.
  17. What's different about this version than the one you posted months ago? My friend and I tested all the routes from that one and they didn't come out the same frame. This one looks like Sickle doesn't trip on standing.

  19. I never liked the idea of spending 50 meter to get a decent damage midscreen combo. CT Nu: 5DD>4DD>236D>RC>air combo. CS Lambda: 5DD>236B>RC>air combo. If anything, since Arc System Works spent assets to make half a character, they will have the assets to build the other half of the character. The laziest thing they can do is give both characters all the tools and modify the framedata.
  20. I believe so. The character's options were growing stale over time. People could block everything Lambda threw out barring 4B[1] set ups. I completely stopped playing CSE after CP was announced and the gameplay I saw of CP Nu. I have so much fun with mode change combos. And SWD, block low, then high. Or block high and get hit by the wheel and the combo is impossible to finish more than 2k with.
  21. CSE Lambda was GARBAGE compared to CP1 Nu. Every version, Lambda just fell farther down the tier list and became slightly more bearable with options. All the changes they made when putting her in CP was EVERYTHING I wanted out of the character: no 4B[1], teleports off of D/6C, special DP, varied gameplay. The only thing missing from CP Nu was Lambda specific mechanics like C version of specials. When they put these changes in effect, I better see Nu and Lambda get a lot of new tools that will make them complete characters and I better have a way to select CP 1.1 Nu (ala Noel's costume change).

  23. Did people honestly hate Nu's mode change from CP? She's the most fun, most balanced iteration of her. She has no more story relevance so it's probably an import. If it's a new moveset, it better have more variety and better framedata than CSE.

  25. Who is going to EVO? I will be headed there this year.
