This is never a valid sequence of words

Blade, how can you judge the power of an entirely new kind of character(slow, clunky zoner, an archetype which i think i have never seen in a fighting game before) from a couple vids that nobody even knows how to approach how to play yet?
-
Indeed, i only watch the best, sorry if that hurts your little american pride, but when you get to the level of play that the japanese are, i'll watch. Won't hold my breath though.
-
This. People just didn't figure out how to get past it.
-
I think there needs to be a separate thread specifically for japanese arcade matches.
-
i don't know who was the sole person who disliked all these videos systematically, but he was a huge faggot, that's for sure

What? No, you are confused. Baiken still has her counters on block, what's changed is that she can now cancel the end frames of her blocking dash into a counter without needing to actually block anything. Also, the yoshijin counter (the upwards spike) was replaced with her guilty gear x counter, which you can see in the preview video. Yoshijin was made a stand alone move.

was there a loketest this weekend?
-
Wait, what? How does that not connect?
-
I suppose this is in addition to what we already know from the preview video?
-
Because it's good? Johnny generates tension like mad and this gives him a guaranteed knockdown after an air combo. The recovery of the move is so fast that you can combo after it, or recoin, or go for oki. It's a great new option. BTW, that upwards coin is the best anti-air in any fighting game, ever.

what the flying fuck, pedro. Anyways, as for the topic at hand, it's not because it's shittier elsewhere that we can't strive to make our own lives better. We're not spoiled, we are making a statement, that goes MUCH beyond not wanting to pay more for school. We are basically proving that this "democracy" we live in right now is nothing but a shell of its true principles. The only "power" the population has is to vote once every 4 years, and the rest of the time, shut up and do as you're told. -

I was the sole person taking care of everything Guilty Gear related. Fetching players, running the brackets, playing in the tournament, entering results, etc. If you have complaints, file them to me. But first let me explain why I ran things the way I did. Keep in mind that Guilty Gear was a main event just as much as BlazBlue was. So the 3/5 rounds was so the tournament would run roughly the same kind of length that the BlazBlue tournament did, seeing as Guilty Gear plays like twice as fast. I also basically stopped the tournament during the BlazBlue finals to give people a chance to watch it. I had to spend quite sometime after the KoF finals to get the stream up and running, again leaving the tournament hanging. But personally I am very satisfied with how things went, we got a heap ton of Guilty Gear games streamed and the tournament as a whole was a blast, even if I had to run everywhere like a madman to get things going. 1st tournament I ever ran, too. Sure it could've been better, but I tried to do my best. Live and learn. at that, I have to A game is never dead as long as there are players to play it. We had 25 entrants for Guilty Gear, hardly what I'd call a "dead" game. Again, Guilty Gear was a main event, just as important as BlazBlue. If you want to revive Guilty Gear, you have to give it the exposure it deserves. Come watch the top 8, hype it up, cheer for the players, make it come alive. This is the main reason I tried to get all the matches streamed as much as possible. Exposure. Especially with the guys from Toronto, who are fucking beasts at the game. It deserves to be recorded and shared with the rest of the FG community. -

no, not really -
I know everyone that's not japanese refers to him as N-Otoko, but really, it's N-O, or N-Oh. Japanese commentators NEVER say N-Otoko. Well yeah, but it was really dumb of him to get guard crushed in this situation in the first place
