Great to hear, though I'm of the belief that the GG scene in america will get kick a big boost come GGX3. At the least, SRK is dying to get a good game. Shitblue got mad love (granted, It's very well made weaboo shit), so Guilty should do amazing with excellent online, scrub mode, and maybe adding in a "boobie-lady".

Yeah, but I believe ST would be more efficient for that since you don't have to learn the dozens of glitches and infinites necessary for not getting destroyed, on top of being not being too slow on it's own. It also the benefit of not being 3 char. team game with only ~5 good characters.

Technically, tier-lists are suppose to be a match-up chart as well, otherwise it's just a "this guy is stronger than that guy" sort of thing. But yeah, Tier-lists don't tell me who are my bad/good match-ups aka who I should practice against, which is what I need.

I haven't seen anything newer than the first match up chart -the one that had slayer below axl/faust (one of the two)- besides ogawa and nemo character-specific stuff, which aren't too useful. If you have a link to this chart, I would appreciate it.

I was wondering, I'm trying to get a collection of GGAC match videos of good players to make a "this is what you need to able to do" sort of thing for every character, and I would like to know of any specific tournments or special events that would be a good place to look for video samples. I know about A-cho, evo, SBO, G3, and Mikado. Is there any other events I should look into, or did I get everything?

Question: Is this something you're going to do whenever you feel or are you planning to make a this a regular thing?

I have to agree with you. If your sibling doesn't even like the game, then you got no chance of getting them to get good at GG, yet alone competitive. Also, not to make me out to be a pro or something, but I myself didn't start out wanting to be competitive at GG. However I did have a genuine interest in the game and somewhat through that I wanted to learn to get competitive at the game. I say somewhat because my desire to get competitive came about more like "I love to cook, and I like money, so becoming a chef is beneficial to me" than "I want to be a chef".
