Well the loketests aren't over yet, so we can always hope that some of the more questionable nerfs get removed for the final version. But the jB hitbox nerf just baffles me. Because we all know how powerful his other air normals are.

Anywhere. You just have to delay 236B for a longer time if midscreen/corner. It's not hard to time though. @Bat- Starting with 2A works too. I just listed 5A because it's a generic starter. You have to use 5B though, as 2B won't combo into 2C.

Sukukaja BnB: 5A > 5B > 2C > dash (slight delay) 2B > 5C > 236B > (236A~A)x3 > j2B > j236D > (j236236C/D) 3.1k (3.9k with super) As with the FC combos I posted, you have to put some delay on 236B if you're in or near the corner by that point in the combo, and a VERY slight delay if not.

Since I didn't see any Sukukaja FC combos, I'll post one of my own: FC 2C > dash 2B > 5C > 236B > (delay) j2C > 2A > 2B > j2B > j236A~A > j236A~(delay)A > (delay) j2C > 236AB > j236A~A > j2B > j236D > j236236C/D (6.2k) Of course that's kinda meter-heavy given that you already need to be in Sukukaja, so here's one without the super (only the end changes): FC 2C > dash 2B > 5C > 236B > (delay) j2C > 2A > 2B > j2B > j236A~A > j236A~(delay)A > (delay) j2C > 236AB > j236A~A > j236A~A > j236D (5.4k) It works anywhere on screen, though you have to slightly delay the 236B if you're near or in the corner. Also does anyone know if there's SMP on Sukukaja 2C? It sure feels like there is whenever I tried to use it in one of these combos. I might have just been doing something wrong though.

I hope Gad Leis is about as plus on block as Valk's 6B. That will make resetting his pressure not as dependent on Ignis as it is right now. Both of his new moves look like they will have so much utility. I hope we see more of Geara Lugia in any upcoming vids, since we haven't seen it hit the opponent yet.

I'm not all that upset about the loss of 6B>6C given the new moves we got, but that combo blue beating at the end is kind of concerning. I'm hoping it was just an error, but it's possible that jB might have less hitstun now and we'd have to use jC to go into j236C. Of course this is just speculation, but that would be far better than having that combo dropping from just scaling. Also do you guys want me to differentiate between what might be a nerf or buff with the changes, or should I just keep listing everything as is? lmao I was almost tempted to list it in the changes. It's no big deal though, because it is a change after all. :3

System Changes: -Gold bursts removed -Crush Trigger: Pressing A+B during certain attacks will cause a guard break if the opponent is not barrier guarding. Costs 25 heat. -Overdrive: Activated by pressing A+B+C+D. Grants character-specific abilities and may also increase damage. Duration is based on your current health (less health = longer duration) and freezes the clock while active. -Can now tech by holding a button instead of having to press it when able to tech. Relius' Overdrive: -Maxima Dance: IC recharges faster. Changes: -New Move: Gad Leis (41236B) -Changed Move: Id Naiads (can be done on the ground now) -New Move: Geara Lugia (22A/B/C) Loketest 1: -6B>6C gatling is gone. -Possible that 5B>3C>236C>214A>6C>214A>5C>JB>JB>j236C>214A blue beats at the end. -Geara Lugia: The A,B and C button determine the range where the attack happens. Slow startup. Supposedly hits low. Scissor-like attack that may act similar to Eddie's drills. -Gad Leis: Slow. Hits in front of Relius. About as long as 5D (possible typo; may have meant 6D). Sword/Swiss army knife looking attack. Haha no worries. I was kinda excited about possibly getting a new super moreso than I was concerned about losing duo bios lol. And yeah, his pressure does need stronger mixup options to go with it. Against good players, I often have to use a ton of IC while taking risks just to get by their defense.

If they took out duo bios, do we know what replaced it? It says he's still got a 236236D super, so he must have something new. I'm personally hoping for a super that refills Ignis' meter, but that seems unlikely. Also it will be gdlk if 41236B is a command grab.

With the loketests right around the corner, I'll be making a thread to keep track of the Relius loketest changes/discussion as soon as we start to see some info on him pile up so we can keep track of it easier. It's too bad the trailer didn't show us anything new with him, but I'm sure we'll find out soon enough if he's got any new tricks up his sleeve. EDIT: We got two new special moves.

Apparently a build of the game was leaked when it wasn't supposed to be, and as a result there aren't gonna be any alpha/beta/etc testing until the last 2 characters are added into the game. Update #8: COMBOS!!! The combos in that vid look seriously hype. I can easily see myself spending hours just doing massive impractical combos just because of how entertaining they look.

The latest stream archive is now on youtube. It's the same build as what was on the EVO stream, but supposedly offers a better look into the mechanics and the balance of the game in comparison to the EVO stream (I have yet to watch it, but I plan on doing so in the near future for at least parts of it). I also use it every now and then in unblockable setups in the corner. xx > 4D > 3C > 214D > 3C (214D hits) It can be used to beat everything but delay tech and reversals. Just make sure you're at about the max range of the first 3C in order for it to beat roll techs properly.

I'm gone for a few hours and come back to all this wonderful news. Pinkie random item cannon looks so fun and her level 3 easily makes me want to mane her. This so much. I would walk there if I had to. So did anyone catch the full stream to see if they showed off any of the other characters, or did Pinkie steal the show (I might be ok with that)?
