My bank account has like 20 dollars in it, so that wouldn't be the worst wager ever, hahaha. Too bad I don't feel any lag from the cabs.

We really didn't get much done at the ranbat last night, though now we're better prepared for next time, I guess? Stream had a lot of problems, but I think I've got most of it figured out. If anyone wants to buy an hdpvr for like $150 (lol), I'll probably be selling mine soon. Going to swap it out for the BMI shuttle instead, I think.

Grats, regardless. >_< PNW had a really messy ranbat/danisen thing going yesterday evening, haha. We totally didn't follow our own rules for most of it. xD

We can't have all the ranks playing on the same station, because it character locks everyone into playing on their rank 1 characters or forces people to start playing yet another new character. People can't keep playing the same people again and again, probably. Need to enforce some sort of minimum player rotation, unless there really is no one else available to be played in that rank's range. People playing two games regardless of win/loss actually slows down the progression of the ranks. Not sure if we should stick to this, or go back to the system where the winner stays until he ranks up or loses, though. For the latter 3 hours or so, a lot of the games consisted of us mashing casuals with random characters. -cough-

Tiers are meant to represent differences in character strength if two characters are played by two equally matched (and skilled, or arguably "perfect") players. In a lot of cases, tiers don't really matter too much. Anyway, let's end the tier discussion here. It basically petered out on its own already, and in a reasonably civil fashion no less.

I figured you wouldn't do something too complicated, but I'm way too lazy to try. ;D Not gonna do more than that, lol.

Ah. I thought GameCenter's net was better than that, nowadays. As far as needing to remove GvG to make space for the other games goes, we'll just have to see, I suppose. If it has to happen, it has to happen.

Yes, please. And if you must go for dinner, finish all your matches, first. I think we need to just start DQ-ing people, personally, but I can understand why no one wants to do that. If you ask about leaving, are given a set amount of time, and fail to meet it, though... you can't really complain if you get DQ'd, right? I don't think any of the GvG folks would mind if we didn't get stream time. If we do get any streaming, it'd probably be on our own, unless Myung's internet can't support having multiple streams going. There was some confusion this time around about whether it'd be on stream or not, but as long as it's clearly stated that it will not be streamed by NCI, it should be fine. Not sure about having to remove it entirely, but that's something you guys'll have to figure out.

Labrys' new theme song: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/nm17367591 yt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGfjGZLHq7M The old one may be reserved for Shadow Labrys. It's unclear at this point in time. New is quite nice, though.

Rachel vs Bang is in the favour of whoever gets the other person cornered and pressured first. Lol. Who needs neutral game. :D
-
I was going to go through the Labrys and Shadow Labrys info, but the website died on me while I was trying to look at Shadow Labrys images. All I saw was that Shadow Labrys gets Asterius (the Minotaur) as her familiar or whatever. It's not listed as 'Persona'. Pretty sure that was already known, though. edit: oh, haha, there're screencaps of all the info pages floating about: http://www.gamer.ne.jp/news/201203260022/

bubble oki: Bubble oki is not worth it on her. I was just saying you can use bubble oki, it's just not safe or worthwhile. Which basically means what Axis said. When in doubt, don't. ...and, @axis, I thought Xie already knew about that from waaaay back, lol. Oh well. approaching rachel: This is a problem most rtsd characters have when dealing with Rachel. Do you have any experience against Lamda or, say, Litchi? Once you figure out how to get in, your neutral game options open back up. It's not really something I can explain easily, though. bombs, missles, etc.: Almost every item has a place in this matchup. Bombs are very good for keeping Rachel from attacking you or moving around freely. Similarly for missles. Pico hammers and frying pans are obviously the weakest items for actually trying to neutral game her, though. The cat hammer is reasonably good at shutting down ground summons, but not so good for anything else. using j.C: Learn to bait the 6A. That's not an issue with the move being useless, that's an issue with not adapting its use to the situation. Use j.C at max range, do empty jumps, use swallow moon or double-jumps to delay your fall, etc. hitting rachel out of lobelia: 1. the lobelias lose their hitbox when you hit her. 2. you can low profile A lobelia pretty easily. Try it out.

Bubble oki does work if you time it right, but it's pretty much not worth it anyway. Bombs and missles are strong. 236A is pretty lulzy against her, sometimes. j.C works against Rachel just fine. What's wrong with it? I don't believe her hitbox has changed. 22C combos should be the same as before. Pretty much the same game as any other rtsd character vs Rachel, except Plat sometimes has ranged answers and sometimes has a DP.

Oho, neat. I might still play through it at some point, so thanks for the info.

Oh, for real? I'm 100% watching it. Never got around to playing the VN, and I don't think it's even completely translated yet, even though it's been years and years and years.

I actually started learning the game by playing Rachel, but it probably took me much longer than necessary to understand the fundamentals of the game because of that choice. :P AH3's a fun game. Not enough people play it, and I'm sad to say that I absolutely suck at it. A bit too fanservice-filled in a lot of ways, but it's all in good fun, right? And I have to say, when I see "Holmes", I think of Sherlock Holmes. -cough-

That's probably part of what's bothering me about his design, haha.
