I still liked NaCl the most. :P

You were thinking of being amazing, that's what. Just imagine landing that and winning and you'll understand your own thoughts.

This is so great. xD I think my favourite command grab moment was when I accidentally did quick-rise command grab and won a match.

I think Xie pops by every now and then? Maybe? Not really sure. He doesn't really post here, though. For what it's worth, I highly support your new avatar, Cirno.

There's a trick to getting 'more scenes' in xsplit without screwing up your stream. If you save two presentations, and every camera is used in at least once scene in both presentations, you can swap between the two presentations on the fly with no downtime. If you don't have every camera active in both presentations, then there's a bit of lag before the new presentation loads, due to camera initialization, but it should still look fairly smooth in the end result (it should just continuing to stream the previous presentation/scene until it finishes loading). Unforunately, that's obviously not as easy or intuitive as just changing scenes, though. I was looking into making a program that would allow people to edit scenes and load them into xsplit without having to do it live, but while the latter is somewhat possible (xsplit's presentation files are pretty straightforward, if irritating to look at), I don't think xsplit plug-ins can load presentation files for the user.

Pretty disappointed I won't be around for this one, honestly. Hope it goes well, though. @vibrating: are you sticking to the two player stream setup, or are you planning to up it to all four players? If you're aiming for four, then when I'm around, I can pitch in my BMI Shuttle/other stream converter crap as well, if that'd help at all. Still no mixer here, though. Can't seem to remember which cheap $30-40 mixer everyone suggests using. :/

Release for console versions is summer 2012 for all regions, iirc. The title of the game was changed likely in part because, in the US version of P4, there is no "Mayonaka Television". Instead, it's called the "Midnight Channel". I suppose they could've left it as "The Ultimate in Midnight Arena", but eh. Localization choices.

1 is the best in the series so far. Hoping that if they make a 4, it's on the PS3 again, but chances are it'll be Vita or something. I'd be okay with that if I had a Vita and if we could output video from the Vita to a TV, but sadly, neither is true. Also hoping that if they make a 4, it'll go back to Welkin and co.

I second this one, hahaha.

That seriously sucks. :/ Not really much you can do about it, though, I guess?

To some degree, Gundam was using NCI as a way to promote itself, but I suppose that's not really all that important. If this goes well and is running when I'm actually around in Norcal, I'll come by.

That's the least irritating part of the combo, haha. Might be because I've been doing that as my corner bat combo since I first played EX, though. :/
-
Ridiculously hard combo, but if anyone's so inclined to be baller: 5A > 5C > 236B > (66) 5C > 2C > j.D > 6C > 22C > 6A > 6C > j.236C > j.C > (land) 5D > (delay) 6A > 6C > j.236C > j.C > (land) 6A > 236B 52 meter, 3612 dmg Was mostly messing around with bubbleless bat combo material. That combo is fucking hard. Confirmed it works on Jin, though. Red-beat all the way through. During the first rep of 6C > j.236C, the j.C has to be hit as low as possible to combo into 5D. During the second rep, 6C > j.236C > j.C has to be done as fast as possible, or it won't combo, but it also has to be low to the ground, hence the delay before 6A (you have until the opponent actually hits the ground to confirm into 6A).

A lot of Rachel players do do it this way, myself included. It's easier to avoid the superjump j.A when inputted this way. However, the wind still comes out before j.A. The amount of time between wind and j.A is just much shorter. But yeah, using wind as a way to see an upcoming mixup is a great way to set yourself up to die to someone who realizes you're doing it and switches to 5B 2D delay 2B.

Haha, I'm still doing my crappy day one corner bat combos. xD I'll just wait until you guys figure out something easy and optimal before I change over. :D

Cat chair still wins! Mwahahaha. But yeah. Previous cons still stand.
-
For what it's worth, you can react to Tsubaki's shield charge startup with cat chair at almost any range beyond point-blank and win. The only shield charge that doesn't lose to cat chair is the D version, since it crosses up. She can bait it by using a shield charge that doesn't reach you, though, or by using the aforementioned D version. Not particularly useful info, I suppose, but still an option.

There's a second Rachel skype channel specifically for discussing Rachel stuff. It has a somewhat better track record for staying on topic. :P

Well, the j.[C] mixup in the corner with frog on the opponent's wakeup is reasonably safe for you, if you time it right. It's just quite possible to mistime it and eat 5A or something. It's also super vulnerable to dps, but you can always bait those with j.C whiff into whatever. Not sure how well it deals with rollers. I suspect it's only so-so at that. If the opponent likes teching during George, there's a period of time before they tech when you can hit them. If you hit them and force them to air tech (or eat george as a bluebeat), what happens?
-
j.[C] mixup on wakeup is typically used during frog lockdown, and they can't jump out of that particularly easily. That said, they can do almost anything else, like 5A you, and they'll get a CH combo. If you're doing j.[C] mixup during a blockstring, chances are they'll just poke you and get that CH combo, unless they're really unfamiliar with Rachel's moveset. @pumpkin: The pumpkin stays out sometimes when Rachel is forced to block, though I think it's possible to have different things cause it and have different results. Can't say for sure, though. The last time I had it happen to me, it was because the pumpkin went active at the exact same time that I got hit. I traded with the opponent and won. Yay pumpkin! >_>;

I was wondering that, myself. :D We should all run our bank accounts deep into the red, and then challenge him.

Welcome! The transition from pad to stick can be pretty irritating at times, but I think it's worth it in the long run, if only so you can play on arcade cabs and on whatever system (as long as there's an arcade stick lying around for it). Also, fortunately for you, Rachel is a very rtsd-capable zoning character. In fact, it's a large part of her gameplay. :D
