It would be incredibly stupid to say that Ragna, Litchi, Bang, or anyone else that makes it's way into S tier is not a very good character. It would be equally stupid to sit around and play a game where you're so frustrated by the inherent disadvantage you have that you feel the need to bring it up every time you play.
Here's how it works. Pick a character, top tier or not. Decide your level of competitivity, and this is a SEPARATE step because it has absolutely nothing to do with the first one. Do well, or don't; then check if you set your sights correctly.
HERE'S THE END ALL BEAT ALL CONCLUSION, I'm only going to say this once (Listen upppppp, real talk). If you care about winning, to the point that you literally get mad when you lose, pick a top tier, don't be stupid. If you get angry when you lose, don't intentionally make it happen more you idiot. If you can take a loss like a man, pick whatever character you want, and understand your inherent disadvantages if not top tier.
YES, top tier characters are better. If you want to win tournaments, you might want to pick them. Otherwise, really question why you're sitting there wasting your time complaining about them. Are they going to get balanced out, eventually? Yeah, try the sequel, or maybe even console version. Will it be perfect? No, don't expect it.
I can't believe people still spend days at a time just complaining about characters. Litchi is crazy, Bang is crazy, etc is crazy, everyone has already seen it. HERES THE FUNNY THING, if anyone learned how to play this game as well as japan, regardless of character, they would be winning every tournament. So take some responsibility.
I, a mediocre player, have already won 3 tournaments. I know several other people who use top tier characters who have also won tournaments. IT HAPPENS, A LOT. Get used to it. It has happened in every fighter where tiers existed. Why do you still complain? If it's that depressing quit.
