  1. Confirmed if PlasticChicken comes through on paying my ticket.
  2. Lmfao
  3. I will continue to use the hero of justice. No one loses more graciously than me.
  4. I don't see any actual discussion happening. I see a lot of whining, I see endless complaining, and I see everyone debating over worthless opinions. This topic is useless, as it stands. The facts are ignored, and everyone just argues over who is a more powerful character, using no legitimate data or important information.
  5. It would be incredibly stupid to say that Ragna, Litchi, Bang, or anyone else that makes it's way into S tier is not a very good character. It would be equally stupid to sit around and play a game where you're so frustrated by the inherent disadvantage you have that you feel the need to bring it up every time you play. Here's how it works. Pick a character, top tier or not. Decide your level of competitivity, and this is a SEPARATE step because it has absolutely nothing to do with the first one. Do well, or don't; then check if you set your sights correctly. HERE'S THE END ALL BEAT ALL CONCLUSION, I'm only going to say this once (Listen upppppp, real talk). If you care about winning, to the point that you literally get mad when you lose, pick a top tier, don't be stupid. If you get angry when you lose, don't intentionally make it happen more you idiot. If you can take a loss like a man, pick whatever character you want, and understand your inherent disadvantages if not top tier. YES, top tier characters are better. If you want to win tournaments, you might want to pick them. Otherwise, really question why you're sitting there wasting your time complaining about them. Are they going to get balanced out, eventually? Yeah, try the sequel, or maybe even console version. Will it be perfect? No, don't expect it. I can't believe people still spend days at a time just complaining about characters. Litchi is crazy, Bang is crazy, etc is crazy, everyone has already seen it. HERES THE FUNNY THING, if anyone learned how to play this game as well as japan, regardless of character, they would be winning every tournament. So take some responsibility. I, a mediocre player, have already won 3 tournaments. I know several other people who use top tier characters who have also won tournaments. IT HAPPENS, A LOT. Get used to it. It has happened in every fighter where tiers existed. Why do you still complain? If it's that depressing quit.
  6. TRU DAT.
  7. Yeah, if it somehow ends up that it wasn't 3f, it's LordKnight's fault. He told me straight out Ara and Litchi 3f, everyone else 4.
  8. Frame data? Yeah, it is. I could probably get it to you later.

  9. It isn't slower in CS though. It's 3f.
  10. Yeah, I have no idea. He hit confirmed like a monster. I think given a bit more time I could have been more successful, his playstyle was very confusing.

  11. No idea, irrelevant ^_^
  12. I think there is certainly merit to barrier blocking Bang pressure, though whenever he wants to he can shift to 2B Dnails to reset it, so don't think it's a faultless defense (see what I did) to his options. Something I think every Arakune should explore is spots where you can successfully jump out; having the fastest jump in the game (3f, tied with Litchi), your ability to jump out of stuff is uncanny.
  13. Her 2A only gatlings twice, I believe, and you are never stuck without barrier blocking (like you could be in CT), meaning you'll never get stuck just being forced to sit there in blockstun for 30 seconds.
  14. hype
  15. Yeah, I think that would certainly be more ideal, but from a business perspective it's hard to see it happening.
  16. I see My IMHO worst case proposal; It's on arcade mode, and you start the playing off. Someone beats you, you immediately replay him for another CDC Reward. If that someone gets you within 10% (This number is unimportant, replace with anything that sounds good) of your last life on this rematch, he stops playing and lets you kill him off, but still 'won'. In this way, opponents still cycle, people are rewarded for playing well and no one else is punished (as much) for this person's victory, you are still on the machine at all times.
  17. Aww man :[ I dont think i can make it.
  18. Mike, I'm going to imagine your special offer is going to be NEVER LOSING TO DABBIT AGAIN (in tournament) Dabbit, two questions. Any insight on the clear problem of arcade mode vs event mode? Also, when you go down to AI on the 19th, could I come with?
  19. There should be a vegas matchmaking thread; get in contact with Tushar, AKA Hellfromabove
  20. I got some winstreaks, yeah. I don't think I ever got much past 10, especially when Lordknight and Zidane were there. Yeah, I played him, me and 10stars BOTH astralled him. Funny as shit. But overall, no one beat me more than Zidane. Combination of never playing against Hazama and he's really good. I went rooouuughly even with LK, beat alzarath more than I lost, got messed up by a Hakumen I didn't know, and I don't remember the rest but overall I tore everyone else up.

  21. Not always. If the overhead comes from a high stun move (low landing aerial or 5B) it serves as a frame trap too. Be careful with relying on jabs to interrupt things.
  22. The performance went fantastic, Carnegie was awesome. :] Yeah, NEXT TIME IM IN NY (read: fucking never) you better go

  23. Fucking YES. This is a 5v5v1 bitches
