Probably the reason no one posted the after daifunka combo is it's so rare to hit it empty But you get the combo on 623C > RC second hit > backairdash > Daifunka > 5A > 5B > aircombo, for 6kish.

All I played was HFA, Arakune Render, Jin Zong1, Carl Derek, Bang And Mike I was only blown away by Mike, but the others are all really good. Zong's Carl is scary too. I did a lot better than I expected, only went negative matches against Mike.

Breaking news, Tushar, you coming to my college just became critical to me even making it Kelly had to bail because she can only get money from her family on Chinese new years if she is at some manner of family ordeal during the tournament, so she had to drop out. Which sucks, and double sucks cause now I need a ride AND a partner :psyduck: If you bunk at my college I have ride covered, and I'd imagine finding a partner wouldn't be too hard

Yeah, but I lost the double or nothing and the next one too, so he ended up 5 bucks up. xD He killed me overall, he's the only player to beat me straight out so far.

I'd say it's far from ideal, but you could definitely use my college bed if you get nothing else. Lol. Just let me know if you need it. Also, if you bring a Xbox stick and a USB dock we could play something that's relevant to the tournament somehow

By the way, fatal counter 623B can trade with smaller attacks and still get the combo, I was playing Render and we both started the match with an attack, I got counter hit but was still able to standing tech>d5B to get the combo going, did 4k damage and won me the match.

Must have been thinking of either 5B or non-true oki finisher then The reason this combo is so important is it works on so many starters, I'll list a couple confirmed 6A 623B etc 5C 623B etc 623B etc 2C 623B etc And they all do great damage, starting on 623B it gets up to like 4k.

Okay, what region is going to put 250 dollars against Socal? When someone steps up for that, I'll agree. I just don't know of any region that's going to have enough people to put down 50 dollars from their own pocket to go against it. If it was 10, I'd sign up as Norcal, Lol.

Yeahhh I'd guess that a lot more regions would feel more confident enterring like.. a 50$ regional MM. 10 each. 50 dollars out of pocket for one set is pretty intimidating for the non-elite or non-practiced players.

Got a combo that's gonna redefine crouching and maybe even standing BnB's; 5A 5B 2B 623B 5B 2B jB j623B 5B 2B air combo IIRC, it was 3.5kish true oki on 5A. Will test further.

Let me put it this way, I played a lot of Tagers, and almost never lost. Then I played everything else, and only lost/went even with the elite players (TaoFTW, Dabbit, Zong1, etc), and only those in the high tier. Then I played Mike Z and lost 75% of rounds or more. But I learned that backdash will get you out of 95% of Tager's mix, assuming you input it correctly and he doesn't specifically punish it.
