Mike Z keepin it real It's just frustrating when you know every time you play in grand finals, every single word spoken is going to be about how broken your character is, and the actual match ignored. Oh, and if the match IS talked about, it's only about how bad you are. Lol.

My defense is fine, I'm just playing against top players. If my defense was bad, I would have no hope against other strong players. Prime "examples" of my defense being bad are failing to block 100% of curse mix up or Bang mix up. Okay, who actually CAN? No one. If anyone was capable, no one would win. But that's not ever the case, no matter where you go. You guys took Zidane way too seriously, he was just trolling.

I need a Litchi to practice with, that's all. That matchup is really stupid though, both characters are just so obnoxiously powerful on offense. Whoever gets started first is easily able to control the flow, Litchi being a lot better at continuing the destruction, Bang being better at starting first.

We are better in different aspects of the game. Always a pleasure to play someone who just can't get enough.

Respek You're the man Huey. You've made unbelievable improvements from the days of CT online (lol what a grand place to meet). Your defense is truly remarkable, a trademark of PNW for sure. A little secret, in the casuals before the tournament, I realized PNW was just much, much stronger than norcal; for that reason, I decided to change my game 180; instead of taking strong knockdown into mix up, I went with on the fly gimmicks and bumpers and FRKZ, on top of using momentum and generally having much more tournament experience. It worked really well for the most part, but in the end it was just too much of a distance. You guys are extremely impressive, and I'm glad there's a scene that strong willing to travel far enough to keep us honest down here.

CS2 portable makes everyone cry. It's not like handheld devices are the future of fighting games, until they can hook up to sticks (or your mind) and display a literal 3D holograph. Stupid idea, for now. Obvious cash grab, they won't release CS2 on the system it needs to be played on until people are forced to buy that garbage. god I hate game politics.

I dunno. I didn't have much problems with your commentary in general, but I could see how people could. For the most part, I guess it was just distracting to hear "TECH GOD DAMN YOU TECH" in my match with Huey, when I wasn't for a reason. Maybe stay away from "advice comm" Other than that it was really only the complaining about characters, which you probably didn't mean as much as it sounded like you did

70% "oh, another bullshit character" and 30% "players are retarded" instead of the entertaining nonsense you fit into, say, your marvel commentary, or the days of your BB commentary before you found marvel. See, what the commentary doesn't even touch on is how difficult the matchup is. When it's Bang V Litchi, the commentary is all "Litchi's stupid, Bang's stupid", instead of "This is an even matchup, this should be a good fight between two strong players". Similarly ignored is the specific player reads or strategies, everything is grouped into lucky or bad, the good plays are overlooked, under-stated or intentionally ignored. Oh, and it's 100% always biased towards our region, unless making fun of our own region player (Which seems to only be the case when I'm playing, and yes, it sucks)

Oh, yeah, I agree completely. Nate's commentary is PHENOMENAL, but only if he likes the game.

I guess the way I would put it is it's the worst of the best. It's mildly witty and often has golden moments, but always negative and annoying for the players. Sucks too cause I really like you scott lol

Imagine how I feel, I've had to deal with Spirit Juice's awful commentary for like a year now. It's always the same, and it makes our scene look awful, both in vibes and ability (You know, because people actually believe him when he says we're terrible).

Lol I've never thought I was better than PNW. Only better than Huey and most people in America. Confirmed my suspicions. :]

It was a great, damn good tournament yesterday. Congratulations to Spark, sG, Huey, Cor, Destin, Nigga Joe, Bohemian Polka, Kayeff (And in the off chance I forgot anyone, you too; tired); you guys were warriors, and you came in with passion, vigor, and spirit (And solid play). One thing I certainly could have invested in was more Litchi practice, it definitely showed that you knew the match better than I did, sG. Same to Spark. You guys were better prepared, for sure. That on top of being strong players, you definitely deserved to win. Huey, I can't put into words how happy I am I beat you in both sets, because I would have had to retire if I didn't. Not because you're bad, just because I have to save face. respek Stream monsters, you played your best too. Zidane especially, you always know how to turn a conversation from uplifting and exciting to degrading and offensive in no time flat. Real talk, you have a strong understanding of psychology and it's always impressive seeing it at work. Also, side-shoutouts to stickbug and nerdjosh, you guys are strong too. Shoutouts to Chun for running the whole thing, and completely bodying sG in a 50 dollar money match off the stream later in the night.
