The ones that did didn't play Bang. I'm the only one with the credibility to speak on his experience of the matchup firsthand, and I'm being completely ignored because you guys are all out of your minds.

He didn't know the matchup, hard to say this in a way that's understandable to you. Even without knowing the matchup, he was going even with me, and as he began to understand the new frames that changed he blew me up really bad, and it had nothing to do with gimmicks. He said that he has barely used Bang, so it completely makes sense to me that he didn't have the new intricacies down, but was able to figure it out quickly. The only way I would be lieing to myself or "feeling myself with hands across the nation" would be saying he DID know the matchup and that I was still capable of nearly beating him with a terrible character, but IM not that stupid. It's not a secret that he outplayed me, and I give him more credit than "I was doing so good" when I used poison nail dash and bodied his anti air 5 times in a row in pre-tournament casuals, among other things. No, it wasn't stupid for me to imply he didn't know the matchup, I'm the one that played him and if anyone knew how well he understood the matchup it would be me. At first, he was completely free to all of the new Bang tricks/frame advantages/poison nail dashes/ etc, and by the end of the tournament he was rock solid in the matchup. Other than that, yeah, you're right. By the way your boy Nerdjosh got bodied by WC Marvel For LK: What would you say is the 'best' way for Bang to attempt to deny Litchi's 2A 5B 2A pressure? If it's extremely high in the air, the risk reward on jD~B seems uncannily good on a vast majority of the cast. If they push nearly anything you get huge reward, and if they somehow beat your attack so what :3 Lord Knight was running that on me in casuals, and I laughed so hard the first time he did it. After that I just didn't push any buttons, and was very much fine and got out of the setup better off than if he had just finished the combo.. for this to be practical, there needs to be some strong option for someone who doesn't push any buttons.

9/10 times it was starting my own 5B or 2B at the same time and losing for start up or a whiff punish. Still a mistake, but very frustrating. @Errol Well in Japan there are only so many Bang players. I guess it is indeed likely that he has practiced with them, and he does sub Bang, but it seemed like he was genuinely caught off guard by a majority of the blockstrings and set ups I was using at first, whereas near the end he was using specific punishes and parries when he was more accustomed to Bang's gatlings.

I don't exactly understand this question, but it seems like an implication that me and Huey wouldn't be able to compete with Japanese Bangs, rather than actually talking about what I had stated? I said he didn't know how the new Bang worked, meaning he probably didn't have much practice. If the question was genuine, me and Huey do have some certain traps and gimmicks that others don't, and I certainly use more bumpers than most, but other than that it's just that we would play differently rather than "doing something they don't". All that I had meant was that he didn't seem to have practice against CS2 bang, and he changed a lot.

He got second, only losing to the godlike Tsujikawa in a really awkward matchup. He's reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally high level JP. Also shoutouts to Zidane keeping it real. He's completely right, Satoshi outplayed the living fuck out of nearly everyone but LordKnight and Zong, as far as I could tell. Me and Huey did well against him until he understood how the new Bang functioned. There might be a couple others I'm missing.
