Yo today will try to get a hold of Austin Oskueke the head of VanPri and ask him to put up a change log and notes for the us English ver.

So 2 things....

1) Proceeds from the game go to the recovery relief fund for Japan (earthquake/tsunami)

2) Hilda is selectable from the character select screen normally....lol this changes everything.

So yeah...support Sugeno and Japan on this one.

Someone knows how to play VanPri in fullscreen but without a flatter screen?

Yeah, the link Hecatom posted earlier was to their UK server, so this one is for NA (and is "cheaper" thanks to transfer rates, woo~! \o/)

Thanks SolxBaiken, so.... someone know about the changes.....and the infinite delayed XBA release? I already checked the eigoMANGA page and twitter they didnt wrote anything about it.

Someone knows how to play VanPri in fullscreen but without a flatter screen?

You want to look for a Maintain Aspect Ratio settings in either your video card config (if it supports it), or on your monitor. The game itself is setting the resolution to the correct one, but how your card/monitor displays that is the issue.

BTW, this is 100% still Fighting Maker 2nd. It's got a Serial code thing on the front end, not sure if there's any active use of Securom or not (Edit: There is). Everything is translated, some new splash screens and redone title page and controls screen.

They did such a good job of duplicating my Hilda hack that I didn't realize it wasn't mine at first. Boss Hilda is not selectable BTW, it's just Assist Hilda. This is a good thing.

The control page is weird. It lists it as A B X Y, instead of A B C D E F, which is what it is in the control config menu.

BTW the menus actually work correctly now without any mess.

This does NOT work with Lunaport. There are Securom related security issues (it IDs Lunaport as a Debug app). So there is no netplay.

Edit: With a small work around you can run it with Lunaport. However I think that's technically circumventing copy protection.

Edit2: Uhm, Saki lost her 214B+C super and her 236B+C super does not have the special finish anymore? Did Sugeno do this at some point and I missed a patch or is this a change?

Hmm. Saki doesn't have her super animation.

EDIT: I don't recall her 6B having that much pushback on airborne opponents either. Either my execution at doing the silly dance party infinite's gone out the window, or there's some concrete changes floating around this.

maybe they translate a old version? that changes are strange...well im still waiting for the Xbox 360 release, hope they change all things that they remove (?).

Yeah, given how long they've been talking about releases, it's possible that it's just an old version. Anyone got a complete changelog of each version floating around?

It's definitely post 1.08b. Eri's super is nerfed correctly. They may actually be legit changes.

Saki's 6B is the same as it was in 1.08. I don't know what the infinite was so I can't test it.

Yeah that's probably the reason for the button layouts being weird. I'm still EAGERLY waiting to see how the hell they managed to get FM2nd running on a 360.

I used Hilda assist a lot in 1.07, she's quite good but some of her attacks have very awkward hitboxes/properties. She works real well with some of the characters and quite poorly with others.

Edit: If you really want to look for changes you could always just load the data files up in the editor too, that'd be a pretty definitive way to get an answer.

now im a little confuse i dont know if they talking about "1.00.1 eigoManga version" or a translate of the japanese 1.00.1 version.

When is the game supposed to come out on XBox? I downloaded it anyway to try it out, but I wouldn't mind paying for an XBox version.

OK so i call Austin Oskueke yesterday and he clear up a lot questions you guys might about the release Vanguard Princess on G.G. and who add the SecuROM DRM to it also XBLA release and which version it is and netplay. He going to Email a statement soon that talks about all the thing above and more. I am going to cross post it to other forums as soon as i get it also if someone could get it on the front of SRK it would a big help.

Hello;

Here's our official message regarding Vanguard Princess:

"The game was prematurely released before while we were still working on features for the game. Aside from being 100% in English, it's based off of version 1.08 (for you long-term gamers out there) with certain bugs fixed, "Child Hilda" is a playable character, and we had to clean up the objectionable content so that we won't scare away new gamers and appeal to various rating codes; other than that the game play has not changed.

Rest assured, all of us are taking the viewpoints from fans seriously and Vanguard Princess is a long term business segment for us. The XBLA port is still on as well as other platforms such as Mac OSX and Android. While we've done a lot of the localization internally, other features for the game such as the cross-platform ports and multiplayer gaming have been handed over to specialized development firms based in Silicon Valley.

The listing from Gamersgate site is been suspended until we make a formal release which will be before Christmas. The SecuROM will NOT be on the latest release. Thanks, guys!"

cross-platform ports thats will be awesome, so......whats going on with the owners of the Gamersgate VanPri version, they will get a free update or something?

If you have to ask, you've clearly never played Vanguard Pantyshot lol.

Hmm, kinda glad I held off buying the PC ver then, especially if the complete version will have netplay \o/ still sad no PSN plans v.v
