Setsuna Posted December 22, 2012 Posted December 22, 2012 http://www.facebook.com/eigoMANGA eigoMANGA Facebook Post says " Our last Sakura Pakk of the year has been shipped out to our subscribers. Thanks for your support and see you next year!" I asked if VP 360 version still in developed and they answered "We completed the PC version; it should come out in a couple of days. We handed over XBLA project to another firm to help us." They should get that other firm to help with a possible PS3 release, I tweeted them about it and they had this to say "The Sony engineers took an honest crack at it last year; it was just hard to get the VP source code to work on their harness. Trust me, I know people want VP on PSN over XBLA. We exhibited the game at NY, LA, SD, Vegas, SF, SJ; that's all they harp about"
wenzel Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 eigoMANGA Vanguard Princess (USA) Trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZI_B4lDvJrk
FerrellJ Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 eigoMANGA Vanguard Princess (USA) Trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZI_B4lDvJrk I'm confused... trailer says "Available Now" and I see it listed on Amazon for $5 but the release date is shown as being back in October (when they were still talking as if it hadn't been released yet). Gamersgate still shows "Coming Soon". Is the version on Amazon the official release version?
TSHKN Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 that a good question i will call Austin Osueke today and get you an answer about that FerrellJ.
FerrellJ Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) I went ahead and bought it (it's only $5 after all)- It looks like a completed version anyway. It's fully translated. Everything is there and works as expected (including loli Hilda). No SecureROM stuff far as I can tell so that's good. For what it's worth, the version shown on the title screen is 1.01.1. Not sure what the "New Features" the trailer refers to could be though... it's still just story and versus. Netplay isn't included but I'm guessing the MTSP application will still work as the amazon product details state "If you have a netplay application, you can play the game accross the internet...". I obviously haven't been able to test that. Worth the money, I'd say. I'm not sure why some people get up in arms about them charging for the game- $5 is almost literally pocket change and they put the work in to translate it... Edited January 18, 2013 by FerrellJ
mynus Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Any news about when those of us who purchased the gamersgate Secu-Rom ver. will be able to get a free copy if the eigoManga ver. as promised?

Koozebanian Fazoob Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Any news about when those of us who purchased the gamersgate Secu-Rom ver. will be able to get a free copy if the eigoManga ver. as promised? This is from a while ago, but you can download it now. Just go to your game list and redownload it. There is a changelog included, but all it indicates is a bunch of text and menu changes. Haven't tested it yet myself to see if anything is different.
Xtra_Zero Posted February 3, 2013 Posted February 3, 2013 So uh How long have we been waiting on that new version with tank-girl now?
Jotamide Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I really want this to be on GOG. Amazon doesn't work here and I don't want any DRM on my PC.
furix Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Lmao who sticked these 3 threads? That's random as fuck lol
Hecatom Posted March 23, 2013 Author Posted March 23, 2013 I thought that it was you who did it, after all you stickied the Twinkle Queen thread years ago, lol
furix Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Yeah.... I am pretty random.... But not THIS random! So now I am the one who is puzzled here! haha EDIT: Maybe I was drunk and sticked this..... Fuck I don't know anymore, I should drink less often!
furix Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 Stop lying to me! Why would you do thaaaaattttttt ;_____;
Xtra_Zero Posted March 24, 2013 Posted March 24, 2013 I support this because this game is awesome and really deserves more recognition, but what happened to Sugeno? Is he like, dead or something? His site hasn't been updated for like two years ;_;
furix Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 He's playing TERA. I'm serious. Well then, that's fine, as TERA is an amazing game and I am totally happy he's enjoying it! :3
Koozebanian Fazoob Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 He's playing TERA. I'm serious. That's super hilarious and also doesn't surprise me in the slightest.
Grimsley-San Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 This game everr gonna be in the U.S.? >_>
SolxBaiken Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 This game is already out in English, and I believe the Steam ver was greenlit not too long ago as well. The only thing in limbo is the supposed 360 ver and the successor [which is allegedly being held up by..."personal" reasons]
Agni Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 This game is beautiful, but I have a feeling it's almost TOO fluid (in regards to animation). All those boob jiggles are just plain distracting. I have to wonder why this guy left Capcom. And why he isn't an actual animator.
SolxBaiken Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 TOO fluid (in regards to animation) Wut? All those boob jiggles are just plain distracting . . . Anyways Capcom has been stated [both by current and former employees] to be rather shit as employers [overwork, refusing proper credit, strict creative control, etc] it's no wonder they've lost alot of their best workers. He doesn't seem to eager to go back into the market, so he's probably focusing on his own ventures, working on VP as a hobby since he is good at this stuff, I mean otherwise he'd get an actual staff to help out with VPX.
Pichy Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 The visual issue with the game isn't detailed animation, it's the horribly cluttered stages.
