I only watched the two last rounds, but those nus were pretty bad. Nice work with 6C j.D cat 2 combos in the 1st one. I should start going for those. and 5C. i need to use that more I guess ...

new-ish dora stuff

vs hima (arakune) dora loses but 1:42 to the end of the second round was hot

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9Pbe6gjpn0

vs souji (arakune) dora loses again. bursting the second he gets hit once really hurts him. I know arakune's a dick, but it's still not worth it. and i dont know why he keeps doing 5A 2A even after 5A hits

I'm unsure if this were posted or not, but what needs to be done to combo Bang's 623B out of his j.C? In some random Dora video, I saw him do it to an Arakune, but I recall replicating the combo, without connecting the dp. Halp? :psyduck:

Personally, once I'm in FRKZ I prefer to use 6A > 6C for the OTG portion of whatever combo, cause of the ridiculous damage difference between 6A and 2B. Generally, do like the setup starting with a fresh, or comboed into 2C, and then, first thing I'd go for is the OTG 6A into FRKZ pain time.

Only works on Arakune and sometimes Hakumen. All depends on height.

It actually works on arakune, tager, hakumen, ragna, and litchi midscreen, and you can add bang to the list when in the corner. It's not worth learning the delays to hit the latter three, however. Just know that you can delay the 6c after a 2b otg pickup slightly, along with delaying the j.b after the 6c. If you delay at both those points you can land j.c, j.623b consistently against tager and hakumen, even midscreen. Also found this out recently: if you land an air-to-air j.a and you're too high up to get a decent relaunch combo you can use j.a, j.a, j.b, dj.a, dj.b, dj.c, j.623b on tager and hakumen, as well as arakune.

I've been loving that last one against Ara for awhile, you can do the most fun stuff to him in the air. You can even throw a 623C attempt after the dj.a>b>c sometimes if you're feeling ballsy.

Man I should really upload the mirrors I have with sho. Lag makes them meaningless, but they are SO funny. I laugh out loud more fighting him than anyone else.

I could put up some of my lagless fights with Euro players, they're usually not that exciting though. And our dittos are indeed fucking hilarious.

Since my Youtube is linked on the 1st page I usually don't bother posting my videos since I'm not one of the better players worth watching. But if you are like me and like watching any Bang videos no matter who is playing then I guess I'll post some recent stuff, at least you can get a laugh out of how bad I am:

Doubt anyone has discovered this yet, I was messing around V Tager in training mode and if you get the timing juuuust right you can combo 6C jD 2B 623B 6C (sliiight pause) 623B 6C 623B for a massive 4.3K meterless (If you opt for another 623B instead of jD you get 200 more, but one less seal). Works as a fantastic burst rapid block punish (Does about 6k post burst lol) or as a psychic 720 punish (if you're halfway through 6C you can't be grabbed) It's situational as all hell, though I discovered you can start it with 2B or even 5D as well (do 5D 623B 2B etc). Definitely a flashy hype combo to add to the v Tager list. EDIT: Also works from 623B for 4.2k. :o EDITEDIT: From 5A, 2A or 5B you can 5B 2B 623B 2B 623B 6C 623B for 3kish.. Probably the best you can get on a crouching Tager, and it's equivalent to the standard Tager specific, 5A 5B 2B 6C jD 2B 623B 6C 623B . Might be a new Tager BnB all around. :] EDITEDITEDIT: Nevermind, if you start with 5A, 2A, or 5B and he's standing, go for the normal, the alternate gives you 200 less damage, and won't even hit on 5A 2A 5B etc. However, it's a great safe follow to 2B instead of risking him being crouched and whiffing the 6C, and you only lose 500 damage from the most most most ideal alternate one. :psyduck: 4EDIT: Also works 5C 623B and 6A 623B. :v:

And most likely - the reason they made bang installs activation faster is because in CT your pushback and air untech time is reduced by the number of frames that have passed in a combo. For instance:

If you hit 5a you have X amount of frames that go by (A calculation of seconds, 60 frames per second) until your opponent can either ALWAYS air tech, or you will be pushed back out of range from landing hits. This is why if you use 5a > 5b > 6c > j.d > 2b > 623b > 623b > 2b > 623b on Tager, he can tech inbetween the last 2b > 623b. The combo was too long and the untech timer was reduced to nothing. So even though 2b > 623b normally always works on him, the timer saves him.

This was true for freeze frames as well (Note - Bang install) And is the reason why if you do 5a > bang install > 5b > 2b > 2c you get pushed back too far to do the combo. The same goes for 2c > bang install > 6 dash > 5d > 9 dash > j.d The 5d will connect after bang install - but once they're in the air they can tech, since too many frames went by during the activation of bang install.

I figured I'd ask this question here, instead of in the CS thread we have going now:

In relation to the stuff 10stars explained above, I have a question as to why certain combos don't work and some do.

Combo 1 (On Ragna): 5A-5B-2B-6C-j.D-j.2369C-d.6C-j.D-j.2369C-d.6C-j.623B-Land-2C

"Combo" 2 (On Ragna): 5A-5B-2B-6C-j.D-j.2369C-d.6C-j.D-2B-(623B-Distortion) except they can tech after that 2B

(I understand that even if it worked it might not be practical but i'm just using it as an example)

My question is why doesn't Combo 2 work, but Combo 1 does? Combo 1 is excessively long in terms of what all is going on and yet they can't tech anywhere in it. Yet Combo 2 is much shorter, yet they are able to tech immediately after the 2nd 2B......

6C has more untechable frames than 2B, enough to ensure 623B hits whereas 2B does not when used late in a combo.
