I'm not sure, i've gotten mail from people (specifically Ragnas) asking how to get out of j.C or a good defense for it, and I didn't understand what they meant because I know first hand you can stay down

Holy cow has anyone seen this?

Dora vs Dennou. Dennou being a jin plus other matches.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjmjLnSqc8E

Very recent and all I can say is JEEZZ The amount of paitients needed to do that fight.

Dora really did keep a cool mind as seen here, the whole just watching it, I was getting frustrated. I was like man you really have to keep it cool with a top notch jin.

Where did it even come from? I mean this is the first time I hear of uhh...force neutral techs.

I made the mistake of confusing the difference between them being "forced" to Quick Tech after 623B or j.C IF they choose to Tech and them just not Teching at all. So that was my bad.

623B / j.C puts them in Emergency Roll status, which I never knew what it was in Training Mode so I always had it Enabled, but now I know the difference.

Neutral Tech is actually the one where they just "stand up" real quick, people confuse the terms Quick / Neutral tech I guess which is understandable.

It seems like Dora has a hard time against Noels or maybe just R-1, so now I don't feel so bad having a hard time against Noel myself. Other videos i've watched with him VS. Noel it seemed like kinda a hard match. That tech trap the Noel did was pretty sick in the 2nd round though.

Well technically it's quick rise and quick recovery, the latter being the invincible tech that some people refer to as a neutral tech. Quick recovery is also the same as an emergency tech in terms of attributes, you just do it as soon as you hit the ground (if possible).

I see, I was just going by the "Wake-up" settings/names in Training Mode (Forward, Backward, Neutral, Quick). So now I see why people confuse the two.

Hi, I'm not a Bang player but just curious: Apart from FRKZ, does Bang get any benefit from having more/all seals?

The more seals you have, the bigger your penis is :eng101:

mwahaha delicious throw break traps. I saw you go for it, but you're ten thousand years too early to be able to pull off the A nail tech trap

You want the highest damage: That means you want to minimize the number of hits it takes for you to get to 2363214 (Aka daifunka, for the record), or you want to use hits that don't prorate badly, or do good damage themselves. For example, if you hit jD > 2B > 623B > 2363214, that's 5.2k damage. However, if you do 5A 5B 2B 2C 2363214, it's only going to be around 3k, even though the super by itself is normally more than 3k. So which one to use often depends on the matchup. The two highest damage, hit confirmable, easy options, are probably: To counter any slow move, 2D > jD > 2B > 623B > 2363214 Or Grab > Web nail > 2363214 Those are going to be by far the easiest to land in authentic gameplay for the least practice, and will remain practical no matter how good you get. EDIT: If you're playing against people who don't know what an overhead is, 5C > 2363214 will do wonders too.

I would think the easiest and most practical would be standard cat1/2 standing bnb into daifunka, or whatever>2B on crouch>daifunka since they don't involve landing a grab or a drive.

Just opinion, though.

man i've only been able to do the A nail tech trap 1 time, every other time they go too high (also i've never practiced it so maybe i'm doing it wrong lol) but wow that command grab on break is funny, but i'm assuming itonly works in the corner?

Posted

nope works anywhere if they jump towards you or airdash with a delayed aerial. if they do an aerial before jumping or airdashing you'll get hit. good for yomi i've had a lot of luck with it so far. don't overuse it, it is a beautiful gimmick when surprising =]

lol well sweet, i always like to throw a purple command grab at the end of my combos anyway, so maybe this'll make it more of an lol moment as they DIE

Kicking off my new channel with awesomeness + metal. It's scary how well the songs worked with each fight considering i just picked a random good one that was the right length.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmZsHxXSNWo vs Isu's Nu lmao he got robbed on the last fight

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEtk4ZfesKc vs VesperiAbyss. first fight i felt so pro haha

expect more awesomeness and metal in the future. Got a good fight with LostSoul coming soon

Does Isu not use Carl anymore? Or only when he wants to play "serious"? Because when I fought him he used RG, JI 3 times, and AR, and not Carl a single time thankfully. And here he is using Nu. I mean I hate fighting Carl and I heard good things about Isu's Carl so it is probably good that I don't fight em, but still.

My other question would be, why so many out of combo Distortions?

Posted

Against Nu if you burst and don't hit her ESPECIALLY if you are in the air its generally a good idea to buffer daifunka because if you get hit you get hit but if you don't they were probably trying to hit you with a D sword in which case daifunka will hit (as you see i got it both times i bursted cause hes an unlucky bastard XD) The other one was because I had rapid and I was desperate. That one worked as well interestingly. Yeah, Isu doesn't use Carl on me anymore either. Maybe he felt guilty i dunno :vbang:

What's up with guardpoints and multi-hit moves? Sometimes the guardpoint extends and makes the whole move safe and sometimes it'll block some of the hits and then I get hit by the rest of the move. What's up with teleporting when you're using 5D and 6D? They seem to keep your momentum in a weird way, and I've often done 6D > A tele and teleported right in front of them and continued the kick facing AWAY from them. Why does every hit blocked with j.D send you higher into the air after the guardpoint? Is that changed in CS?

Yeah, I certainly agree. I should have been more clear, I was just trying to display the highest damage easy ones. If you do 5A 5B 2B 2C Daifunka, that's unbelievably easy, but you're going to lose quite a bit of the damage for your meter. Still very applicable, I use it all the time, so I should have mentioned it. It just doesn't even come to mind as a combo anymore :v:

guilty for what? playing a character that has 1 broken thing that is fun to play? going to Gay-13 a character that is just overall messed up isn't really a change
