While they are attacking you, she throws spears out and starts rushing you down under the cover of all of these delayed projectiles. Wha... wha... what. FISH. That sounds like Arakune. Just reading it makes me enraged.
dragontamer Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 I dunno, Zappa's curse is what Arakune's curse reminds me of. Zappa's curse randomly threw pots (overheads) and banana peels (lows) at you. Oh yeah, and good Zappas knew how to combo you off of these random projectiles >_< GG is crazy. Venom's pool balls, Faust's flowers, May's dolphins, the whole game had a slew of very strange projectiles.
farranpoison Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Dizzy's fish are nowhere near Arakune's bees. She can only throw one fish at you at a time. Arakune can throw endless bees. There's no comparison, really. The best projectile in GG was the whale. End of discussion.

Don't forget all the stuff that Faust randomly threw out. Mini Pots, Mini Faust, Mini Robos, poison, bombs, pans, hammers... In fact, Faust pretty much was the character that defined random crazyness. Now I'm getting a GG vibe. I'm gonna go play AC+ now.

Well, if you count the frog as a projectile, and not a separate character. That's really only one of the reasons, though.

Mizore Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 I use everyone and find the one that I'm most comfortable with so I switched from Jin to Noel and it's still undecided who my official sub is although it says Ragna on my D-Card.

Mightfo Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 I typically favor rushdown characters and Bang is simply awesome so I main him. I sub Hakumen pretty much because I do fairly well with him. I really like Tsubaki's move setup, so I'll probably at least sub her in the next game, if not actually main her.

I liked her even more after actually playing the game and seeing that her personality is like... the same as mine. However, as far as playstyle goes I ended up going with because she's fast, which I love, and for some reason I found her stuff to just work with me. I was able to beat people who actually knew how to play as her. is my sub because he's easy to use. Basically... I like his style. I try to avoid using the overused stuff though which isn't really good in the strategic long run. Also, Jin is attractive. :D But then again so is Noel and I didn't stick with her... The other two people I sometimes use are and Rachel was someone I picked early on due to her aesthetic awesomeness. However, she's pretty hard to use. I like using her once in a while for fun though. Ragna... he's easy to use and also hot. xD /stuff no one cares about.

Seras Victoria, Rosette Christopher, and now Noel Vermillion. Well, obviously not all of them wear blue, but many of them are blonde. Mireille Bouquet (Noir), Rushuna Tendo (Grenadier), hell, even Vash the Stampede (Trigun) is blonde (not a "Girl with gun", but definitely Gun Kata)

Then, once I heard Bang's introduction speech about him sometimes being called THE DIVINE LIGHTNING OF JUSTICE, I was sold on him. From that day onwards, Bang was my main xD
