I watched match videos with a friend of mine before the game came out on consoles in the U.S. and Taokaka's play style intrigued me, so i picked her. Plus I have a thing for catgirls :3

Actually my real reason for picking Bang was becuz someone told me he was a low tier char and they also said that id get ownd and quit the game if i played with him. 70 lvs later and now ranked like 29 on the Bang Leaderboard im happy with my choice =3

Waaaay back then, like last year May back then, I worked at this shitty place called Petsmart (aka. dog balls). I had a co-worker named Erik, talking up a game that hadn't come to console yet, but was at the local arcade. I was skeptical since I was a fighting game failure (Soul Calibur 2-4.. thats it).

One day, there was a Norcal Ranbat tourney aptly name "Whoa, HUGE!". Erik again, invited me to watch, or play. I walk into SVGL, to see one of the most epic matches you'll see on a US BB cabinet, it was Goryus (Previous Nu mod), and TaoFTW (Tao mod) at each other's throats mid tournament.

From there I was like-

I CAN HAZ CATZ

I CAN HAZ ROBOT

I CAN HAZ BOTH

And now Tao/Nu(Lambda) mains. :3

I was just intrigued at how as Carl you get to play as two people at once (a fighting game first maybe?). Also, I often hear how Carl is hard to use and when I see a challenge, I can't back down...

Oh, and as a side note, I don't use the clap loop XD

Because I'm obsessed with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, I'm gonna say that was the first fighting game where you play as two people.

Also, to stay on topic...

I chose Jin because he uses Ice. I then chose to sub Carl because he's purple and reminds me somewhat of Canas from Fire Emblem (plus the fact that he reminded me of Jojo). Then, when I saw Hazama, I thought...he's the coolest guy ever, with the best distortion in the game.

I'm new here when I started playing bb i used Noel only then I thought I should sub either Jin or Carl and went with Carl.

I played Noel at first and got props for not playing like a retard, Got bored and developed a brain and started playing Rachel. Gothic Loli, cant beat that.

Wow I'm shocked at how many people actually started with Noel and then moved to someone else. I first looked through the BB instruction manual in at a Gamestop 8 or 9 months ago because I heard some stuff about the game since I'm an avid GG player. I looked at each individual character and thought about maining Ragna because he was as close as I got to Order Sol it seemed. As I closed the book and turned to back cover, my eyes got locked there at the back cover and wouldn't move for a few seconds. I started with Ragna in BB but it just didn't last at all, me and Noel were a deadly force meant to be. I scrubbed with Noel D spam for all of a week, then I decided to quit screwing around and actually get good with her, and now... Well I can't describe how much I've improved with her from day one, I really can't. I got pretty damn good with Ragna too once I decided to pick him back up again to finish what I started, but really now, I think the few people on DL that do know me recognize me far better for my Noel than my Ragna, seriously.

Ended up with Noel due to comboability, versatility in mid combos, and manage to easy find ways to poke around if mastered plans and frame advantage and distances. Her character design is very good and fitting to be cute and appealing for both a male or a female player to use her for aesthethics. Can't deny I also like guns as well specially revolvers.
