How'd you pick your main?

Played Sol in GG, so I picked up Ragna in BB, been using him ever since CT came out.

I chose the cutest ones possible, so Tao and Noel.

I liked Hakumen and Arakune's designs in CT, so I picked them and will be using them again in CS. I'll probably be picking up Hazama too based on design.

Bang is awesome and his theme song was part of it. Also when i used him for the first time he felt so natural for me so i stuck with him. Tsubaki's just appeals to me(even though her fighting style doesn't) so she might be harder to learn to me than Bang was

I liked Hazama ever since I saw his playstyle because I like the concept of having long range pokes go into short range combos, plus j.Cx5>dj.Cx5 is just awesome to do/watch :D

Tager was incidental to me, I didn't think I would like him at all, but when I played with him I was like "Magnetism=<3"

And I love Lambda because I loved Nu, but I can admit it now because she's not a cheap c**t...

I liked Ky in GG because sword+lightning=win to me, Jin uses sword+ice=epic win to me, plus uber pretty specials thank god he didn't get something retarded like Ky's rising force.

Hazama as sub because of his psychotic personality and epic seiyuu and who doesn't love 蛇翼崩天刃！！

I fell in love with Rachel the moment I saw her. I really enjoy her playstyle as well...so even if she sucks in CS, I'll stick with her in the long run.

Pretty much exactly this, except replace "Rachel" with "Tsubaki." I liked her character design even back in CT's Story Mode, her CS storyline is interesting (if a little depressing), her attacks look cool, she's got a good theme song, and she felt very natural to pick up and play. No contest.

I started with ragna then I wanted an over the top characater nobody used so I switched to Arakune and hes my main ever since it only came natural since i mained Zappa in gg and subbed chipp ,

Chose Hazama as soon as he was revealed in CT. His play style did not disappoint. Chains and knives forever.

uh.... what:psyduck:? Ky isn't like Jin at all, his personality is difference, his playstyle is different... even their character designs are to the eye of someone who isn't color blind and can't determine shapes. Even then Ky's still badass.

Actually lately when playing guilty gear on my PSP for hours til end had found some liking in Ky and decided to thrust all my hate on Jin

Ky and Jin are practically twins: many gg and bb characters are very alike if it wasn't painfully obvious.

Well let's see, before CT as soon as I saw Haku-Men I was like "THIS. GUY. IS. AWESOME!" (I'll be honest I'm a Sephiroth fan). Plus I like power over speed, but I don't like be THE slowest. So it was Haku for me with Ragna in a close second. The guy just has a cool look, personality, and attack looks.

Now for CS, I always wanted to see how Hazama would fight. And damn is it sexy. The guy just reeks of awesome. Black and green is just such a cool color combination as well. Now I know he ain't too easy to use but I'm definitely willing to give him a shot. Not to mention I like snakes. If I suck with him I'll still use him, just not as much as I would plan to. I'm still going to use Haku-Men especially since he got better.

I also think I'll wind up using the Valkinator a lot, especially if he does wind up being a werewolf. Now give me a character that is associated with crows/ravens and there's another main.

i chose ragna and tao origanly because me and my bro always choose the characters that are rivals with each other and i like big swords :D, after a while i made noel my sub because of her combo able drives compared to taos flipiy ones.

I found my joy in playing Noel. She was fast, had guns glued to her hands, and HAT.

My problem occured when I disliked using her D/Chain revolvers. I was scared that I would end up just using it constantly so I tried to mold her playstyle without it. When I saw Tsubaki, Hat, being as fast as Noel, bigger boobs I knew she was for me. Specially with the charge as a 'lure' or a 'taunt' for your opponent.

Telling them that, "I'm going to use your defensive play style to charge my meter. " When people like defending, push them back and 2D charge to taunt them to run at you to interrupt you.

May also try Makoto for the rush and confusion. The fact that from the 2 Gameplay videos out currently seem amusing specially with the LV. 3 1 guard primer break... yeah. I'm toy all day all night with peoples guard.

Rachel- Well first I find out she's a princess and I start to get excited. Then I find out that she's a first-class persnickity bitch and I get even more excited. Then I find out that she fights with an umbrella, and what can I say, I'm a sucker for chicks who fight with umbrellas (Setsuka, Peach, Okuni). Then I watch videos of her gameplay and see epic combos which is what draws me into a new game the quickest and I have some sorts of strange mixture between a stroke, heart attack, and orgasm at the same time.

Litchi- TITZ. lol jk I <3 boyz. For real though, it was the uniqueness of her combos that drew me in. Plus I'm obligated to play as one hot Asian in every fighter I play. I'm thinking of dropping her in CS. Something about playing her makes me feel... dirty.

Tsubaki- My possible replacement for Litchi; she's a classy, straight A student, with an epic voice... just like me! I like how she's the respectable one out of all her friends and her moves look very interesting. I'd like to try her out.

Honestly, I loved Hakumen's appearance. Then when I further got into Blazblue, I realized how much fun it was to play as a slower character in the midst of the crazy speed.

I wanted a character that didn't seem like a standard fighter. Someone you could play as with non-fans and get comments like "WTF HOW DID THAT BEAT ME?!"

In Guilty Gear X2 (my only GG) I mained Johny the moment I saw his mist attacks. I don't really like his personality, just his visual and game styles. My sub in GG was Venom, because he's a crazy awesome black dude with white hair who doesn't need his eyes to assassinate people, with floating pool balls that materialize out of thin air nonetheless!

Back when I first saw BlazBlue in the 2009 Japan expo in Paris I thought I'd main Tao, because I LOVE cats and cat girls and Japanese girls who speak all "nyasu". However, after ordering the game from a Canadian site and seeing the whole cast, it just had to be Hakumen! Zantetsu, Yukikaze, Shippuu and of course Akumetsu looked so frigging awesome! His sword normals were as cool as Johny's! I also love the brush stroke effect on Renka/Hotaru and the kanji that appear at the begining of each special =)

Now, since my PS3 is at my parents' house I don't get to play BlazBlue all year round, so I just couldn't devote time on a sub. Hazama and possibly Valkenhayn look crazy awesome though, so I don't think I'll be able to resist subbing/maining them (if their play styles suit me) once CS comes to Europe :P Hopefully, in a year or so, I'll settle down somewhere, get my own HDTV and get competitive :F

Saw Noel, only character i liked and then I found out that her english voice actor was Christina vee, that made me like noel even more
