LionHeartx Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 So if Beast!Ragna is playable in the next game, will he get Black Onslaught? I would hope not because to me it just kinda comes off as lazy that Terumi didn't get his own theme. But then again Endless Despair II is so godlike, I really dont care.
Ryudrake Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 It was under my impression that U. Hazama was flat out Terumi out so it made a lot of sense for Terumi to receive Endless Despair II. But yeah, that song is amazing.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 For the longest time, Hazama and Terumi were one in the same so it kinda makes sense for the latter to get Endless Despair, especially since it fits the character like a glove.
floatwater Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 Is there an official OST cover for CP? Not the Interlude II.
Zangelin Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I dunno about you guys but IMO after listening the shit out of the actual CP OST and comparing it to the CT-CS versions of them, the remixes blow most of them out of the water and it isn't even close. Like damn, even the songs I thought were bad in the previews (Looking at you Marionette Purple II and Bullet Dance II) had a back end that I thought made up for the lackluster beginning. In all honesty the only originals I would say are better than the remixes is Thin Red Line, Oriental Flower, and Memory of Tears. I feel the complete opposite of you. I love the new songs but most of the remixes barely even feels like Blazblue anymore. There are a few exceptions though like Sword of Doom II (But i can't call it "better" since it's so incredibly different that i can't compare them.)
Tokkan Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Is there an official OST cover for CP? Not the Interlude II. Yes, it's releasing next month and is 3 discs.
Yazumatto Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I can't stop listening to Awakening the Chaos II. For some reason, I feel myself tearing up before the children's choir. ...it's...it's so beautiful.
Afrikaan Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I can't stop listening to Awakening the Chaos II. For some reason, I feel myself tearing up before the children's choir. ...it's...it's so beautiful. I feel the exact same way about Sword of Doom II's ending. Can't even understand the language but you can just feel the emotion in the singer's voice.
SoWL Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 A bit late with this, but I'm loving Black Aggression a lot. It might be one of the most GG-like themes out of the whole cast, pirate intro aside. Though I'd say that they could've picked a better name for Kagura's theme, this one sounds a bit too much like Black Onslaught. Maybe even more dragon references would've been appropriate?

Black Dragon? I think what helps that song is the segaway into the first bridge...very Queen like, and we all know Daisuske loves him some Queen.
Volt Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I agree that Black Aggression wasn't the best name, especially for Kagura's theme. Still, that pirate intro is so great that I don't even care.
GVGguy Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 http://vgmdb.net/album/14444 Did anybody know there exists an official GGX2 Chiptunes album?
HoudiniJr100 Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 http://vgmdb.net/album/14444 Did anybody know there exists an official GGX2 Chiptunes album? ... *crosses fingers for haven't you got eyes in your head chiptune*
werewolfgold Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Childish Killers lyrics is like the best part! No. The song is awesome. The lyrics? No. No no no no no no. Black Onslaught however is probably the only song in the games i've always avoided like the plague. The horrible death growling just makes my skin crawl. I can understand this. But, the lyrics themselves are pretty much fine. The only lyrics I don't like is when the singer says, "When she was little girl," and "When he was little boy." That just doesn't make sense grammatically. Oh, there is far, far more to be hated, my friend. lol http://blazblue.wikia.com/wiki/Childish_killer I realize that Engrish is gonna Engrish, but it just makes me especially mad because the lyrics to Black Onslaught may not be perfect, but they at least make some kind of sense. I mean, really: "When he was little boy If when he saved mind So wrong" Wut? Who let this happen? lol In my opinion the worst lyrics go to Sword of Doom II. The singer already starts killing every headphone users who try to listen. I think you guys are confusing bad lyrics with disliking the singer...
BlackYakuzu94 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 I know the lyrics on Childish Killer are bad, still doesn't stop me from liking them :P
Volt Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 I think you guys are confusing bad lyrics with disliking the singer... Bad choice of words. It happens. But seriously, the lyrics of childish killer are barely understandable. And the worst part is that no one cared, even when they had to do it again for the remixes.
Ajantas Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 Bad choice of words. It happens. But seriously, the lyrics of childish killer are barely understandable. And the worst part is that no one cared, even when they had to do it again for the remixes. The phenomenon is quite simple though, since I come from a non-english speaking nation it is easy to under why someone wouldn't see the lyrics being a problem when remixing childish killer. You don't need to understand the lyrics to appreciate the song. As long as the song aspect of the song is good people will tune in, why is korean pop so damn popular in Thailand when no one speaks the damn language? (pretty faces, catchy tunes and plastic surgery).
BlackYakuzu94 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 If anything, I like the tempo of Childish Killer that goes with the lyrics. And you get gist of what the song is trying to convey. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
GVGguy Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 ... *crosses fingers for haven't you got eyes in your head chiptune* Sadly there ain't one. There's a mix from the Korean track, surprisingly. Also, you just put that song in my head, I singing the god damn lyrics too... Thanks buddy! :D

Thanks buddy! :D heheh, no problem...actually a good idea...make a remix to that so I can vocal it (I love that song to death) or do a robo-mix...either way works :P or a new theme alltiogether speaking of GG, you guys think themes will be remixed once again for Xrd?

Hopefully not as much as the BBCP ones though, they changed a lot of stuff into synthesisers-esque sounds and the solos in them are a bit too ab-lib and feels like there is no continuity. Keep it rock imho.
Master Of Chaos Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 IMO almost all the remixes outclass the originals, I wouldn't mind new tracks.
Betto Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 They could always make completely new tracks (save Keep Yourself Alive and Holy Orders, both of which could have their 4th iterations)
HoudiniJr100 Posted November 1, 2013 Posted November 1, 2013 They could always make completely new tracks (save Keep Yourself Alive and Holy Orders, both of which could have their 4th iterations) as a guy who wants HYGEIYHII (slayer's theme acronym is hilarious sounding) I say I disagree...but if it kinda is on par with vampire saga or riches in me I'm for it...so I'm in the air on that
