Chaoschao222 Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 I would imagine the name of the song is in the game, and as such has been in the game for a while.
SoWL Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Also possibly named in tribute to the passing of Slayer's VA. Do you really think that they named the track yesterday, rather than when it was composed?
GVGguy Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 That can happen, actually. There's times where I don't manage to come up with a good title to something, and just keep it to a project name until it's done. So it's possible they made a last minute switch. Â Although I also find that kinda unlikely, seeing to how close these events happened. And I'd expect such a tribute to rather show up in GG, than BB...
SoWL Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 In other news, I finally got my copy of P4AU, and I can't get Rise's theme out of my head. Send help.
Vulcan422 Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Jourdal uploaded some matches with good listens of Celica and Terumi's themes.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uXSZaym8Q2M https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHKczeJet38&t=31m48s  I love how they go fucking crazy on the organ in the middle of Terumi's theme. Oh and Celica's theme is beautiful.
GVGguy Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 So let me just confirm here, then...  It's 100% confirmed that Lambda's theme is Awakening The Chaos II? Aka, the same theme as Nu?
Master Of Chaos Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Lambda has the first Awakening The Chaos as her theme.
Shinhwa Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Lambda has the first Awakening The Chaos as her theme. Â Meh, hope she gets her own theme instead of borrowing Nu's theme. I mean yes it was technically her theme too before, but still... Her theme from Alter Memory was good too..
Monarch Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Do we have any word on what Celica's theme is called?
SoWL Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 We can try asking Mori directly, but there's no way to see it on the arcades, I'm afraid.
Vulcan422 Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Arcade version BGM select is unfortunately perma-locked on auto as a part of ASW's copyright crusade. Â We'll just have to wait for the next Song Accord announcement. Â EDIT: CP2 has a new ending theme, at least for Lambda's Arcade Mode. There's a new piano version of Stardust Memory that plays during the credits.
swordsman09 Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 EDIT: CP2 has a new ending theme, at least for Lambda's Arcade Mode. There's a new piano version of Stardust Memory that plays during the credits. That's cool I guess. It already sounds better than the one we have now.
Blade Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Do you really think that they named the track yesterday, rather than when it was composed? Â Whoever assumes these things really needs to stop making stuff up. Â 1. If it's in the game they'd have to give it a name for the file system. 2. Why would they tribute a song for BlazBlue to a voice actor in Guilty Gear???? 3. If it was a tribute they'd probably say so in an album comment or something.
SoWL Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 3. If it was a tribute they'd probably say so in an album comment or something. Which we don't actually have yet. Unless you mean that they have to write that far in advance, which supports our point.
Master Of Chaos Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 1. If it's in the game they'd have to give it a name for the file system.  What does this have to do with, like...Anything?  2. Why would they tribute a song for BlazBlue to a voice actor in Guilty Gear????  The same reason a moment of silence was held at the CP 2.0 opening tournament, maybe? Ishiwatari is the one who composes the music for both games, so it's not THAT much of a stretch to think that he named one of his songs after him.
Poultrygeist Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Do you really think that they named the track yesterday, rather than when it was composed? In music, songs are renamed all the time, even well after composition. Â
Dawn of Musou Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 http://youtu.be/nDAuVr59rlM?t=17m18s  For anyone wondering about Celica's theme, you can hear the entire thing in this match video. Just use the left earphone since the right one has all the commentary. Seems to be about 4 minutes and 50 seconds.
Master Of Chaos Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wqb0mzeYSDo&list=UUuFc0m-nR82vc36s5X4Mdtg#t=10267 Â Terumi vs Amane match, full listen to Silent Scream with no commentary.Â
Monarch Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 I just realized, new version means new AH theme. Any videos showcasing that yet?
HoudiniJr100 Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Sorry, there's no new Astral theme in CP2. do they use the arcade version or blue sanction this time around?
Vulcan422 Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 They still use CHRONOPHANTASMA as the Astral music.
cr1ms0n Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 They still use CHRONOPHANTASMA as the Astral music. That is bizarre o_O. They always change the astral music when a new expansion comes out. Nothing -> Hekira (CS) Hekira -> Shinsou (CS2/CSEX) Shinsou -> CHRONOPHANTASMA (CP1.0) CHRONOPHANTASMA -> Blue Sanction (CP1.05) Blue Sanction -> CHRONOPHANTASMA?! (CP2.0)
