^No.

What are Calronia Kingdom and Viltania? I've never heard these names before. Are they from the novels somewhere?

I-No's hat doesn't have a name...but her guitar's name is Marlene.

Calronia Kingdom is from Night of Knives Drama CD (which you should be reading). According to Zato, the kingdom was built on top of a crater formed by a large Gear, they used it to perform research on Gears and Forbidden Beasts.

Viltania is from Guilty Gear Judgment. In particular the Island of Isene. Raymond was a designated mage formerly from the Sacred Order who was supposed to look after the residents of the island. After a time they started worshipping him like a god, and he began to perform inhuman experiments on them, turning them into quasi-youkai life forms, based on the data he got from the gate to the Underworld. Eventually he gets the bounty hunters to kill Inus for him so that he takes over his body.

I was, something like... 2 years ago when there were only partial translations. Where is it now? (Edit: nevermind, found 'em.)

Ah, ok. Now I remember Viltania.

I can see that this thread hasn't gotten any activity for a while, but i'll go ahead and ask my question anyways. Keep in mind I haven't read any of the Novels as I can't find a site that has translated any of them for me to read.

1. How exactly does the Assassin's Guild work, in terms of a functioning organization and work place? For starters, how do they recruit members?

2. How old does one have to be to enter the Guild? Since Venom and Millia were brought in and trained by the Guild at very young ages, does that mean even very young children can enter the Guild, or were Millia and Venom just special exceptions?

3. How exactly does an assassin do their job? Do they go on "missions", involving assassinating certain people, and if so, how exactly does each one recieve word on what mission they'll be going on that day?

4. Is it specificed what exactly the Guild has "turned into" in Slayer's eyes? It never seemed to really be descirbed what exactly changed in the Guild so drastically to make Slayer want to disband it.

5. When Zato took in Venom and Millia, did he raise them personally, as some kind of "father figure", or were they not really associated with him until they grew up?

It's been around for a hundred or more years, founded by Slayer. They work in secret and a huge network across different countries. They sponsor orphanages and pick the best kids. They also recruit powerful warriors just like in AC+ where Venom tried to recruit Baiken and Chipp.

It's said that the Assasin's Guild changed from over time. Apparently, during Slayer's time, it's more honorable. In the Night of Knives, they accept and finish any mission regardless of the target (it was a 2 year old King.) Members who are captured are not rescued or are probably killed afterwards. They also meddle with politics and make alliances with corrupt officials. Other details are unknown.

5. When Zato took in Venom and Millia, did he raise them personally, as some kind of "father figure", or were they not really associated with him until they grew up?

It's just speculation. Venom and Millia are described as orphans unlike Zato. At one point, Venom was chosen to be a other vessel for a Forbidden Beast but he wasn't suitable because he wouldn't kill anyone. He was about to be disposed but Zato saved him so he loved him and devoted his life to him. So given Venom's prior innocence and background, the Guild's recruitment process and Zato's authority, it's very plausible that Venom met Zato when he was very young. It's unclear if Millia got Angra the same time as Zato, if she did she could be the same age as him, if she was taken in along with Venom, then she'll be younger.

This is just a heads-up post in case you missed anything.

Over time, I am writing extensive bios for everybody.

I tried to explain Axl and Dizzy recently as well.

And here's some extensive info on P.W.A.B. too.

Ask me something if you want to learn more.
