Marionette Pwii Posted February 27, 2010 Posted February 27, 2010 heh it is pretty fail to play this game with wii controls but its fun when you get used to it
Gorehound Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 High chance ArcSys and Aksys will not port over GGAC for PS3/360 with online play until the Next Gen GG has a release date. They probably will port it months before the New GG comes out to strengthen the hype!
ElvenShadow Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 Gorehound, Dont you think releasing the old version (AC) right before the new one comes out would just be pointless? No ones going to play AC anymore if they make a new GG fighting game. (at least not competitively since there will be no tournament scene for it anymore... well I guess in the US theres already no tournament scene anymore but you get my point). Personally I think it would be smart to do it sooner than later if they are really going to make a new GG fighter. Otherwise they wont make as much off it.

It wouldn't be if they got it out 'bout half a year or so before GGX3 hits console for the world market, and god forbid if GGX3 wines up sucking, that would be a good enough incentive to buy the port after GGX3 hits right there.
Blade Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 http://dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?p=588789#post588789 Just trying to give anyone else who demands an explanation some info.
VR-Raiden Posted March 20, 2010 Posted March 20, 2010 What the thing is: for example in Guilty Gear. It was developed for PS2. It looks ok but but back then the TVs weren´t that big. There were those big, chunky TVs. It looks ok. Play Guilty Gear now on those flat TVs, the big flat ones - It doesn't look good. It looks as if you are missing some color. It looks kind of grey. So that was one concern we had. We want people to play it. pffft...
IDontHaveAName Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 if this gets good online ping and its on PC, i'd even sell blood to get this.
CakeWasBannedd Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 The reason I don't play guilty gear is because A: My PS2 stick sucks ass, B:I have no one to play against C:I have no room for a lagless TV GG on 360 would solve all of these problems. I already have a much better stick, online play would give me people to play against, and as far as I know 360 games dont lag on HDTVs
Xaphiel Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Everyone I know who is in the GG scene here in my slice of Texas wants this *incredibly* bad. Mostly for the 360, but some people prefer the PS3. Just making it known.
TheGreatReptar Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 This would be awesome. I could skip out on trying to find a PS2 stick, and finally be able to stop playing Accent Core on my PSP. The whole it not looking nice thing is kind of a bleh point. MvC2 was ported, Garou was ported, and they both look just fine. Hell, I play Super Turbo on my laptop, and it looks fine, and Accent Core is nicer looking than all 3 games I ranted off.
Ichipoo Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 I wouldn't mind playing GGXXAC+ online on the PS3. It would give me a reason to start learning and practicing it again. And they don't even even need to make it 16:9. Last time I played GG on a 52" Bravia was on the Wii and it didn't look bad at all. :D
VR-Raiden Posted March 22, 2010 Posted March 22, 2010 Yeah...and isn't Reload already on XBL? If they did that, I don't see why they can't do AC. Lame excuse ASW...
Ronin Jinobi Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 yeah I've been saying this needs to happen for like a long time to people IRL. I'm 100% for this. GG for the m-effing win.
Narcowski Posted April 10, 2010 Posted April 10, 2010 I'm surprised I hadn't gotten around to posting in this thread yet. AC+ with netcode would be an amazing PSN release. I'd consider buying it even if it was the same price I paid for AC in the first place (new).
DarkDream Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 I believe this is my first post ever. I've no idea how to play GG competitively, but what better way to learn than online? You have my support.
EndOfDreamz Posted May 31, 2010 Posted May 31, 2010 im wit it, will this werk, who knows, but im wit it, gots my support
4r5 Posted June 2, 2010 Posted June 2, 2010 hey look, something interesting from bb general: so daisuke said he'd release AC for ps3 and 360 if the demand is there where do we sign to show him that we do want it? If it has online-play, I guess I'll buy a fourth copy of my least favorite GG. (Cause that's how good GG is! ) IF the speed is corrected (console AC ports run faster than arcade AC and XX,#R,Slash console ports) THEN I would totally start entering and pushing tournaments again. And recontinue my quest to be the very best, like no one ever was, pokemon, etc.
