Kronikhall Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Evil huh? Anyone want me to quote Kirei Kotomine on what evil is? Is that the dude from Fate/Stay Night?
mAc Chaos Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Is that the dude from Fate/Stay Night? Yes. The greatest dude.
Lou_Cypher Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 His speech close the end of Heaven's Feel does say things about humanity's perception of good and evil. I can't help but wonder if that's how Hakumen feels.
King of Hearts Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 id love to read the speech i never heard of it
pktazn Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 While it is off topic, I would like to read the speech too.
ryofoong Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 The real evil person in this game is LITCHI! D:! WE ALL KNOW IT!! D=<
A.X.I.S. Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 The real evil person in this game is LITCHI! D:! WE ALL KNOW IT!! D=< you just want a reason to swarm her with bee's. : i..i finally found you... : w.o...l.d..y.u..l..ik...som....be..? : i remember when you used to tell me-- : KYAHEEHAHAHEEE!!! :?! whats that? : -summons bee's- : mu..t...prepa....fo...din.r. : no! not the bee's! no! noooo! -cries- : KYHAHAHAHAHAHA!! bon..ape...t : back on topic. the dark susanoo can be a transition of hakumen, or perhaps terumi has the 3rd sacred treasure or gets it at some point, perhaps he has the power to corrupt it and take it as his own..or worse the 3rd one is the most....-rambling-
Suzaku Posted September 30, 2009 Author Posted September 30, 2009 Well, 80% of Hakumen's existance was left behind in the Edge when he was recovered by Kokonoe (though he may have been further salvaged by the time of CS). The "Dark Susanoo" might have to do with what was left behind in the Edge, or maybe it's another Anti-Sankishin Unit. Who knows? It's mentioned only once, referring to Terumi, and that's it. Maybe Terumi was the previous owner of the Susanoo Unit, before it was passed to Hakumen? Since Hakumen's soul is bound to it, and all, maybe Terumi had previously been dwelling in it and was removed from it? Wild speculation, but I'd say within the realm of possibility.
mAc Chaos Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Maybe Terumi is just the "Dark Susanooh," like the opposite of Hakumen.
Suzaku Posted September 30, 2009 Author Posted September 30, 2009 Since I just did Tsubaki's and Hazama's for the CS threads, I figured I'd go ahead and post translations of the the subcharacter profiles from the book. Beast of Fire Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Thanks Suzaku! May I ask you to translate the most importante character stories, like Ragna, Jin, Noel? LOL You mentioned Hakumen's which is fairly short. The stories add some more depth or just garbage?
Soothesayer Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 What's a Setaria viridis? Some kind of drink? Also, it's interesting how Hazama didn't dislike or like anything in particular in CT but in CS has a fondness for boiled eggs and hats cats. A stretch perhaps, but maybe this is reflecting Terumi's possession of him? Terumi's dislike for cats could stem from Jubei and snakes eats bird eggs and well Terumi is assciated with snakes somewhat...yeah it's a big stretch but I don't see how Hazama suddenly likes eggs and hates cats out of nowhere. Turns out seteria viridis is some kind of bristlegrass. The world's strongest creature hates bristlegrass, who would've thought?
King of Hearts Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Yeah thats why I thought he doesnt like cats either because of Jubei and past conflicts or Kokonoe trying to kill him or both
TheDarkWall Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 I think that Rachel is Nine, Since they both use magic, and they both knew everything. Rachel May have wanted Terumi to assume she was dead as Nine. so she could watch over him with minimal trouble. I personally think rachel is saya honestly. I mean the way I see it saya was taken by terumi when she was a little girl. Now she could have been turned into a vampire or something by the head of the alucard family, and then saw ragna dying, which is why she bit him. This also explains her interest in noel constantly and why noel constantly sees her in visions. Also it explains why she cares about ragna so much.
Suzaku Posted September 30, 2009 Author Posted September 30, 2009 What's a Setaria viridis? Some kind of drink? It's a plant commonly known in Japan as nekojarashi, or "cat toy", they're used as "cat teasers". You twitch the ends at them, and they can't help but roll on their back and try to catch and bite them.

Saya was kidnapped, probably from Terumi in Jin's form, it's a possibility that he did something crazy like that, but not a very high chance....

Ferrero Rocher gourmet chocolates can be bought at the local grocery store for next to nothing honestly.
pktazn Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Not a very expensive date that Kokonoe. Ferrero Rocher gourmet chocolates can be bought at the local grocery store for next to nothing honestly. I know right? And on top of that they're very delicious.
Moy_X7 Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Heh, yeah and their worth every penny (or whatever monetary system you use) knowing how they taste so damn good.
A.B.A-can-do Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 I know right? And on top of that they're very delicious. Get a whole box of those things for like 6 dollars and a couple of roses and Kokonoe is yours to act out all those weird two tailed grimalkin fantasies on.

zeech Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 Is there actually a distinct term "grimalkin" used to describe Jubei/Kokonoe's species IN JAPANESE? Because Hakumen's line in the game "dont interrupt me!..." uses "bake-neko" which afaik is something like "you freak cat", and is more an insult than a technical term?
