Phones01 Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 heres me playing at AI on saturday first time on stick and using hazama lol. Tips please http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHtUc3iuIj0
kid viper Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 too much turtling not enough pressuring. especially against rushdown characters like ragna you have to get on the offensive asap because hazama doesn't have tools to stop their offensive game. also needs more chain pressure to aggrivate/close in. also you need more movement in your game.
ghaleon109 Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Lol, we should go the same day so we could both work on Hazama... I'm always the only one playing him when I'm there...
Phones01 Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 yeah it was my first time on stick but i like it more than pad gonna invest in a stick thats for sure. i was trying to do 214D>C but i was having trouble and i was trying to figure out the angles for the chains lol. yeah id love to ghaleon i might go there again maybe sat or next sat. I was the only person there who used hazama the enitre time i was there didnt want to use any one else so i can get a feel for him ya know?
ghaleon109 Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Yeah definatly. Shoot me a PM when you head down next and I'll see if I can't get out there. Curious though, how crouded was it Saturday?
Phones01 Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 it wasnt to bad on sat surprisongly though only about 4 or 5 ppl played most of the ppl were just crowding around to see the game. Sure ill definatley PM so we can get some matches in.
g.Bauer Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 slowly updating the thread as Xemnas upload the videos on YT. got 2 for now: vs Noel and vs Tsubaki
Serpentarius Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Perhaps a suggestion, can new videos updating in the Main List have the date of their posting as well? I figured that way we can see how Hazama evolves over time...
4r5 Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 I assume the vids are ordered oldest to newest from top to bottom, right? That's not good enough?

Moogster Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm9080492 Don't know who the Hazama was, all I know is that Masa8(Litchi) and the Hakumen weren't able to do anything.
4r5 Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 oh cool. finally a Hazama that doesn't have shit reactions, isn't a loony, and can make (very) good reads. video details says his name is えすきう I'm curious to see if he's consistent or if he was just having a good day edit: oh hey, another one http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm9080403
Moogster Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 At first I didn't understand what he was doing, staying still sometimes, but then later, doing double Jayoku's and great reactions got me.
4r5 Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Hazama we're talking about. You're still a threat from 2/3 of the screen away. Plus a lot of the time he simple had the life lead. He didn't have to do anything, it's the other guy who has to come up with something. He can afford to sit and wait, watch his opponent and gather up some insight, and punish whatever mistakes they make. I think this guy still has some holdovers from another game. He seems to reflexively throws empty-jumpins. It cost him a couple of times in the Noel matchup. Along with not knowing how to combo Noel and botching up some instant block attempts. He was making a lot of good decisions, probably would of won if he at least didn't drop the combos.

Moogster Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 I think the one in the new vid is not Hazama basing from the names; ざきやま - Zakiyama えすきう - Name of the guy in the new vid.
IkeTakeda Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 idk i think zakiyama is good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4bLYySXuyHk (pulled from the first post) He really good at his spacing sometimes. He uses the chain way too much to zone which he makees mutiple bad guesses and take a combo. He sucks at getting out pressure in corner and sometimes use unnecessary combo to rank dmg and some to kill. Usually I try to use my distortion as a reversal or a combo folder.
