Phones01 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 dear god fio is rediculous.i really dont think litchi will be a great match up for hazama looking at how long and how much damage is dealt to him by her basic combos.her shoulder rush move seems very safe on block and takes away a primer which is not very good for hazama. though the good thing is she has to get in on hazama which could control the tide of the fight but it can also work against him as well.

Jin in CT was described as a "boring" character, because he didn't have a lot of the flashy stuff that other characters had. So Buppa plays Jin to his limits, very safe, not doing anything too risky and capitalizing counterhits into combos. When he switched to Hazama, he plays similarily as how he would play Jin. Zakiyama, on the other hand by comparison, goes for a lot of risk and does much more flashier combos. Apologies for the misunderstanding. You're right on the whole thing then. Zakiyama tends move around a lot and takes a lot of risk. But from what I remember, he's lost to Ertai, has he not?

Like Buppa he seems to like doing 6/4DD, j.2DD in the middle of block strings, catching people off guard with possible cross-up anyone possibly know his name? next part of the video is a litchi nearly double perfecting an arakune...which is always fun to watch (course, I used to play litchi)

Just as I was about to move on, I noticed there was gonna be another match, so I decided to watch. I have never thought about doing Astral from 5B>3C, was always doing from either IB or 4D (usually missing). Now, I know you can combo into anything from 3C. Anything.

That Rachel played pretty damn well. On topic... that was a pretty interesting combo with the RC in it. Probably not worth it though. btw, I've seen a couple of vids where Hazama misses Houtenjin after 623D>3C. Do you just have to time the dash3C really well?

ghaleon109 Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 When you've got a long combo going and rapid Jakou to followup with 214D~C don't even bother trying to 4D~D it doesn't work. Not sure if you can even get the second set of j.Cx5's to combo at that point. I guess it just depends on how far you got before you did that Jakou.

Would it be plausible to go into 2B 5C 4D combo from this? its plausible, the only thing is j.214B has a good amount of proration, so unless you're using it in the situation that was used in that video (going for a kill) i wouldnt waste heat on rc'ing it.
