g.Bauer Posted December 14, 2009 Author Posted December 14, 2009 Removed Kid Viper's videos from the initial post. ty skye
Moogster Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 http://gamenyarth.blog67.fc2.com/blog-entry-4926.html?id=sm9091528 Could someone tell me if the Taokaka just sucks or he just couldn't find anyway way to get in? Also who are the players? And lastly from the latest vids I've seen the players have been trying to do the trip move after his Zaneiga. Any ideas why?
Moogster Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 Well at least the Hazama player was doing some interesting things.
TCSyd Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 And lastly from the latest vids I've seen the players have been trying to do the trip move after his Zaneiga. Any ideas why? I imagine they're just messing up the input for dash 5B and getting dash 6B instead.
Moogster Posted December 15, 2009 Posted December 15, 2009 I'm also thinking that, but just in this vid I think he did it almost every time with a certain combo. Also asked this because there was a video yesterday where a Hazama did it against a Tager and it hit him, causing a reset. http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm9089690 Edit: Nevermind, just looking at it again and yes when they do dash, it looks like they tend to do 6B. So yeah, I think they're just making a mistake.
geist Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 http://gamenyarth.blog67.fc2.com/blo...l?id=sm9091528 not sure the 6B's were mess-ups, every none of his combos had 5B(other than to initiate combo) so I somehow doubt that's what he was going for, even if he DID do 5B it doesn't pick up off the ground and he would have done it WAY too early for a meaty...still the only time he actually hit 6B he didn't follow it up at all so who knows...maybe he wanted a guard break?
Dacidbro Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 He really good at his spacing sometimes. He uses the chain way too much to zone which he makees mutiple bad guesses and take a combo. He sucks at getting out pressure in corner and sometimes use unnecessary combo to rank dmg and some to kill. Usually I try to use my distortion as a reversal or a combo folder. I don't know if it's fair to say that a Hazama who beat Buppa 3-1 is wrong in his gameplan
IkeTakeda Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 It not fair. But who cares when your Hazama. Your game ego is "I don't give a fuckkk"
kid viper Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Zakiyama plays a really great patient Hazama. His reversal Jayokus are by far the best of all the Hazama players. He's really smart in terms of which combo to use to put him at an advantage (even if it's not the most damaging, it leaves him at the best position). Although I don't really like playing like that, he's good at what he does with that character.
Shiawase Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CTaYYGNk18 Hazama (Ora) vs Carl (Yuri) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG_zcNB7GVc Hazama (Shadow) vs Bang (Dora) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4k9yy6JRvOo Hazama (Shadow) vs Taokaka (Kazu) Here's a few that I have uploaded.

I haven't seen some of his vids since the old Gamechariot ones (11/28 -11/30).
kid viper Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 those vids are really the only one's up but even now noone punishes like he does
Moogster Posted December 18, 2009 Posted December 18, 2009 12/5 Gamechariot Vids Zakiyama(Hazama) vs Keita(Taokaka) / Dennou(Jin) http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm9124452 Zakiyama vs Dennou(Jin) http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm9124751 Zakiyama vs Kaqn(Ragna) http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm9124864 @kid_viper I'd agree with you about his punishing abilities (which can easily be seen in this vids), but sometimes I think that he relies on Jayoku too much, which sometimes causes him the match. But when it connects, it surely hurts. Though I'm liking how Esukiu plays him after watching him against Masa8 even though I don't particularly like his defensive style.
g.Bauer Posted December 18, 2009 Author Posted December 18, 2009 First post updated. thanks Shiawase and Moogster. Any way we can split this video, or add the starting time of the match, so I can post it on both jin and tao parts? Zakiyama(Hazama) vs Keita(Taokaka) / Dennou(Jin) http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm9124452
g.Bauer Posted December 18, 2009 Author Posted December 18, 2009 Really enjoyed the video of Zakiyama vs Kaqn! Really good matches there tho I didn't like the first one, the other 2 were amazing.
Shiawase Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 This is a bit off topic but is there a certain day of the week that Gamechariot updates their site with their own videos? They still have the 11/28-30 vids up yet you can find 12/2 and 12/5 on NicoNico/YouTube. I don't really get it to be honest. :S
ryokoalways Posted December 19, 2009 Posted December 19, 2009 The vids always hit nico video before their main site. I can't tell you why. They just do.
