she can, and its not lvl 1 cause there isn't a lvl 2 version of that move

Sweet, I'm still knew to her so I forget how her lvl's work lol. It's her 236+ move where she hits the opponent and ends up behind the opponent.

I tried her a few times, but it was during fights against players with their mains so I didn't do so well.

So far I really like her rush style of fighting.

the D specials are practically EX moves, you can just think of it that way, and each one takes 1 stock from the lvl meter Except the D version of her Supers which takes all the remaining stocks

Oh I get it know, sweet.

I thought it just automatically made all her specials into EX moves without using the D version.

Thanks, hopefully I get to practice with her some more this weekend if the weather isn't too crazy.

The real english VA for Tsubaki is Julie Ann Taylor, as proven in the first game anyway.

Finally got my hands on Tsubaki. Anyway, I'm having trouble inputting 22C right after 214A in her bnb combos. When is the right time to input 22C? My impressions: She's "deceptively" easy to pick up in the sense that you can easily do her basic bnb combos, and she seems very straight forward. The problem lies in the fact that her whole game revolves around charge canceling/baiting. The difference between the top tsubaki players, and the ones that aren't that good with her, will be how they utilize her cc and baiting/confusion game. 5b cc 5b cc slight dash 5b 5b cc 5b cc 6a/throw/empty jump to throw/5b 5b 22D(if you have a charge)/etc 5b 5b cc 5b 5b cc slight dash 5b cc 5b 5b cc slight dash throw/etc I mean you really have to be random with her if you want to be successful. I know I'm a scrub with her but in the process of inputting all that stuff I got confused myself. Lol, obviously i'm still learning so that's why. The more random you her with her cc mixup, the more her rushdown potential begins to show. As we all know by now, winning with her, depending on the matchup, is not going to be easy. A lot of people are going to pick her up in the beginning because of how flashy she is and how deceptively easy she is to pick up and play, but once they realize that to get better mastering her cc/baiting mixup is not an option, they will quickly drop her. Her gameplan is 10x harder to execute than a lot of the characters. I like her a lot. Tsubaki has set combos, but because of the way she is built you can really freestyle a lot of things. That's also why I main carl, that ambiguous playstyle they both have is what draws me to them.

AThe easiest way I've been able to explain the 236a>214a>22c is to be hitting down+c at the moment you hit them with the 214a attack. Duno if that helps a lot.

Sorry this is pretty random but after watching Code Geass (in English) I just realized that Milly Ashford's voice is the same as Tsubaki's albeit a bit more mischievous. :yaaay:

So how well will charge canceling work with Tsubaki? I have a feeling that other Ragnas and Jins are going to mash out DPs to get out of it. How well will it work into overheads and lows? I think her 6A is an overhead and 6CC is two lows. Would 6CC>5D>dash 5B> work?

Charge cancelling should be sparingly used. When you charge cancel something, you're usually out of range for an effective overhead/low mixup. 6A is her only command overhead. 6C and 6CC are normal hits and cannot be charge cancelled.

6CC isn't a low, you are thinking of 6BB 5D most charge but crappiest recovery 2D least charge but fastest recovery jD inbetween 5D and 2D and has decent air recovery but crappy landing recovery

about canceling or something this is what i use... i think it would help a little 5BB > 2BB > 2D > 23698C > [Land] [6A or 2BB] [throw] [or repeat] it depends what you want to use. > Etc.

why would you do TK j236C there? would it not be more effective just to go into ur high/low/throw game after the charge cancel?

i am assuming ur just giving an example instead of something that you Actually use right? cause i don't see the reason of doing 2 different types of cancels in a row
