MAdBater Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Beating tager is judging the right time win to jump. to avoid grabs but one must be care of the untechable air grab if they predict you jumping.
Sophisticat Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 ^ ... Huh? Please clarify, I've no idea what you just posted.
psycofang2 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Beating tager is judging the right time win to jump. to avoid grabs but one must be care of the untechable air grab if they predict you jumping. what he appears to be saying (and i hope to god you were drunk in some way when you typed this) is to beat tager you need to know when the right time to jump to avoid his 360 is but beware of his untechable air grab aka atomic collider. so jumping is the way to win...just watch out for atomic collider, making jumpin dangerous, so you need to know the right time to jump to win. im not saying shit, comment on this if you want to.
Warhound Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 I have a quick question. I'm not sure anymore, as I haven't fought a Tager in awhile, but after Gadget Finger do his command grabs get turned into purple throws?
qwerty Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 purple grabs only occur when the opponent throws you during block or hitstun. if he doesn't wait until you're out of hitstun to grab you (like RC 360 or something), it will be a purple grab. but if he does wait, then he gets the typical, untechable command grab.
Warhound Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Oh, kinda like how you can do 2A > slight delay > grab and get a green grab with Haku. This whole thing about Tager being one big guessing game isn't really news. We all know you get three options off Gadget Finger and each can be beaten by something but not all. jab < Sit and block < command grab command grab < jump < atomic collider c. grab (unless magnetized) < backdash < jab
qwerty Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 when magnetized, you can backdash cancel hotaru to beat command grab.
Warhound Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 I guess you could if you had the mindset to do that before hand.
Wolf of Sorrow Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 haku forward dash Tsubaki beats a and b 360, does its beat 720C too?
BladeOfJustice7 Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Why wouldn't it? If you're not sure test it out in training mode.
