DavidGuard Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 So j.c and 4c win us the game pretty much.
JackG Posted December 4, 2009 Author Posted December 4, 2009 I dunno, I'm mostly joking and overexaggerating. I don't want to make claims yet since I haven't played the game yet, but the moves seem pretty dope.
ryokoalways Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I'm going to be honest. Mirror match looks hella fun on paper in CS.

Seems I'll be beating you to the claims market.
Sophisticat Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I'm going to be honest. Mirror match looks hella fun on paper in CS. How so? I'm just hoping it's not the current "God kills a kitten" type of match-up... I am seeing this match-up to be a lot like a Dragonball fight, for some reason. I.e. "I do j.C CH! Blowback!", "Oh yeah?! j.C CH BLOWBACK!!" "OH YEAH?!? [...]" Ad nauseam, ad infinitum. It's going to be ping-pong with corners. >_>
ryokoalways Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 kishuu beats both jC and 4C. I know that just from watching vids. The people watching the match will be bored, but the mind game for people playing the match will be fantastic.

Hakumen's parry alone makes his mirrors ever the more interesting, lack of 6a aa will also be nice to watch in action.
Sophisticat Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Nice! I thought 4c would stuff kishuu for sure. But if it ups the mind games, I'm all for it. Lack of CT 6a means online mirrors are going to be retarded. Should only apply to lower levels, hopefully.
Silhouette Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 I disagree with the 5-5 match rank. This match is obviously 10-0 Hakumen, because only he has the power to rape himself. *points to signature*
Sophisticat Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 We finally see some mirror action, and I think I'll definitely enjoy mirrors a lot more this time around if it's anything similar to the reference below: 紅也(ノエル)、ふぃるむ(ハクメン) VS モッコリマン(ラグナ)、0(ハクメン) http://zoome.jp/gamechariot/diary/157/ 紅也(ノエル)、ふぃるむ(ハクメン) VS アキラ(テイガー)、ちん(ハクメン) http://zoome.jp/gamechariot/diary/168/
Yukikaze Posted June 6, 2010 Posted June 6, 2010 We finally see some mirror action, and I think I'll definitely enjoy mirrors a lot more this time around if it's anything similar to the reference below: Film beats 0 comfortably and Suzume beats Film pretty badly... if i remember the vids correctly. In the early non-mirror matchs... i really liked Films style, but maybe he was playing people below his level.
Hakujin Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzZg7utZolE&feature=player_embedded my 1st mirror match in my 1st tournament maybe you can give me some tips for my Hakumen in this vid(I'm using the red Hakumen)
zdravkelja Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 You didin't take combo oportunities you had. Also, for some reason, many Haku's forget about Hotaru (j.214B). You could've hit him with TK Hotaru many times. 2C also
Hakujin Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 You didin't take combo oportunities you had. Also, for some reason, many Haku's forget about Hotaru (j.214B). You could've hit him with TK Hotaru many times. 2C also well, maybe I will try it next time btw, did you think the other Hakumen(the original color) is too aggressive?
zdravkelja Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 He was.. That's why I said you could have Hotaru him so many times.. I also play very aggressive with Hakumen, but not as much unsafe.
psycofang2 Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 im completely unsafe. its way more fun. i only put in effort or intelligence when i feel like it. winning while being unsafe is an awesome feeling.
zdravkelja Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 It is I remember when I was IADing j.2C all day :P
Sophisticat Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 I wouldn't say he was too aggressive, just being very braindead in his pressure. If you're going for enma mixup, you either do TK Tsubaki or renka after it. Or ditch the enma, and do Kishuu -> throw instead. It's fast, effective, and a mainstay of Haku pressure. The number of times you countered him were evidence of that, but to his credit he at least went for throws later on. Whenever he went for j.2c, he was wide open for a TK Hotaru/2c. Don't be afraid of reacting to Haku.
mAc Chaos Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 I would just j.D the j.2C's. Learn the combos for j.D.
MAdBater Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 I dont do well with the mirror match up some reason i get out zoned when playing. I also have to be careful not to use to much meter and not being able to do some of the more damaging combos.
