Artwork was incredible as the scenery actually affects how the sprites look so background lighting is actually causing shadows and stuff like that. Very inventive and very well done. Plus Mike Z has many creative ideas for the games mechanics. Throw in VERY unique character designs and it sounds like it has potential. Off topic: Watching the stream for MvC2 top 8 and they got Michael Jackson playing the background...My day has been made.

Too bad the commentary wasn't too good since the people commentating were SF4 players... Why SF4 players were commentating on BBCS.. ah nevermind!

Too bad Dacid didn't jump in and commentate when he could, at least he would've known what was happening. Both of Zong's matches were just the guys trying to figure out exactly how Nirvana worked and what the little boxes by the number of nails for Bang meant.

Other than the only having one step up going (which was actually OK due to the low turn out, and definitely NOT the fault of any of the organizers), I didn't have any issues with the event at all. I'm really looking forward to WCW3.

A huge thanks to John Rog, congrats to render and ZONG for making top 4! Can't wait to see which character will buff themselves to the mirror-match tournament finals for BB3 at WCW3...maybe Taaaaager...

BANGER Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Good stuff guys. Yeah, only 16 entrants, but I'm sure that will vastly improve once CS hits consoles. It was a ton of fun playing you guys. Great experience. And why was my first game against *the* MikeZ? And at losers, Jan? Both pros (and tagers to boot). What happened to seeding?! This is only my second (or third?) tournament ever . But it's all good. 16 entrants, after all. Fun stuff. Oh and sorry Odd03 and I weren't there in person for the BBCS finals... Easter sunday shenanigans and stuff. But we did watch the whole stream before heading out and getting there at HD Remix finals. Congrats to Bang, and everyone else for getting to top 4. Ohx2, Skull Girls is looking great. Only 5 months and a working engine, stages, and character. That's amazing. And I actually did play it Mike Looking forward to more in the future!
